it has its own beach, great location
the room odour is bad, water smells bad, like there is septic tank problem to the water system

All staff are very friendly and attention to detail especially during breakfast. Plates are cleaned as soon as we finished eating.
The hotel might need renovation as it is outdated and focus more on cleanliness. Towel are not as white as it used to. Room are very big that makes its hard to focus on cleanliness.
First night of our stay, the toilet can't be flushed so we had to contact engineering to fix it. Beaches have many rubbish which is disappointed eventhough its actually has beautiful beaches. If renovation can be done, it has many good oppprtunity to bring more guests.

Great location right at the beach. Room had lots of space and the views from the balcony were awesome.
The pool area is fantastic although the music from noon onwards is super loud.

Location was good. Pool access good and staff very friendly and courteous.

Private pool, this was great as could use as and when wanted.
VUE - pool party area, great to meet up with friends and sit around and have a drink.
Rooms, could hear everyone walking down the hall, doors opening and closing. Could hear the rooms next door toilet flushing. Overall meant for very disrupted sleep.

The resort was very clean, and well maintained. The 2 bedroom villa with private pool was very spacious. The pool area was well maintained and a seating area was always available for hotel guests, whether it be a pool lounge or cabana. The restaurant was conveniently located near the pool with a great view out over the beach. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
The music in the hallways was quite loud, not that you could hear it once you were in your room. The beach club music was noticeable when you were in your room, only able to hear the thumping bass. That being said, it was off by 10.30pm. The breakfast buffet was very small, with the toaster breaking while we were there. You could order from the menu, which had a large range of food, although your tables order never came together, and i had to ask multiple times each day for things that were still missing from the order. Amenities for kids needs improving.

The room was lovely in look for the most part and the view was great. I had picked the suite for the reaosn of my birthday and wanted a larger room and the view of the ocean.
We had to turn off the bedroom aircon to be able to sleep. The motor was located right outside the bedroom balcony and was incredibly noisy. The new aircon install in the roof was unpainted and looked unfinished. The windows for the view and the balcony were so dirty that we had to stand up and look over the balcony to see the ocean. No point opening the curtains. It was so encrusted with salt and dirt. Staff were lovely and the venue is great and pool is wonderful but the main part of that room is the view which was spoilt.

The pool area was nice and the gym was big
I don’t think I’ve ever had bad service in Bali but the staff here were very unwelcoming and slow. It would take half hour just to get a drink and it felt like every time we ordered something from the bar or restaurant that we were interrupting their time on their phones. The staff around the pool barely smiled and it felt like I constantly needed to ask for things as opposed of being offered including cutlery for my lunch every single day.
The room had mosquitoes and the air conditioner smelt, leaked and my kids got coughs. We stayed at a much cheaper place in Legian prior to this and never had a problem. There was only a very small double bed and I was expecting that at least my young child would be able to fit in the bed as we paid over $900AUD for 4 nights. The lounge and curtains looked dirty, the showers were awful and they changed our bins once or twice over our stay. The room didn’t feel private as there were always staff a few meters from our bedroom and lounge room window that could see in.
Although the menu for breakfast sounded/looked nice it tasted like aeroplane food.
The kids pool was closed for our entire stay.
The location of the resort doesn’t have much around it including footpaths so it was really hard to get around with the pram. The traffic is also really bad so if you want to go anywhere I recommend leaving before 8:30am. It took over an hour to get into Seminyak one day when we left at 1pm. A footpath/boardwalk along the beach would have been handy and quicker.
Overall, my family have been going to Bali for 30 years, have stayed at many places and I’ve never felt the need to leave a review but this was a very disappointing stay. I really hope the service improves as this resort has a lot of potential

The place is very run down post covid. Broken things in room, mouldy edges in bathrooms, mirrors are marked, in desperate need of a renovation BUT it’s cleaned well and still functional so we were ok with it.

The beach club was great and all of the staff were courteous and keen to make our visit great.
The general amenity is run down and tired, maintenance isn't a priority here and there was no hot water in the room (though we never got around to asking for it to be fixed).

Great bar and pool area. Friendly staff.
Toilets kept blocking up. Had to change rooms half way through the week due to eaves on roof breaking above us- nothing received from hotel for inconvenience of having to pack up and move! Found out on last day that they have a curtesy bus to take you to beach clubs- that would have been good to know on check in.

Room was described as having ocean views. It didn’t.
Rooms are very dated. Power points did not work.
Wifi was very patchy and frequently dropped out.
Reception staff were generally unhelpful.
The resort’s preferred transport option was at least twice as expensive as a metered taxi or a ride share

Traffic in Cangu area is very bad and the beach is a bit dirty and lots of dog-s poop

- the sea/beach club view from our apartment was amazing
- beach club was great, best part of the hotel i’d say
- aircon was amazing, definitely the best aircon i’ve experienced in bali (the one is the lounge room did leak a little but worth it for how cold it was)
- staff were super friendly
- heaps of security around
- they have a vehicle that can take you to places close by e.g. finn’s
- great location
- would definitely come back, has that classic holiday vibe
honestly not too much to fault - all in all a great hotel however, could generally be a little cleaner (wouldn’t say it’s filthy tho) & room service can be a bit iffy. our booking includes a free breakfast and when we called and asked to order they told us “sorry no it’s too busy” which is a little annoying considering we already paid for it as well as other times when we called and asked for something like cutlery and it never came - but honestly not that big of a deal.

Breakfast - takes lot of time to prepare. They can also keep a buffet to save time for the guests.
Room - was fine. Some of the furniture was getting old. I guess they are doing renovations.

Room was very spacious, more than we expected.
Pool area was nice
Breakfast was terrible, food would come out cold, sides like hash browns or croissant didn't come out had to ask several people to chase them up, staff would bring a new plate to table with no cutlery so had to ask and wait, they wouldn't remove dirty plates or cups pushed to the side until we asked them to - need more training..... one morning when breakfast took 45minutes to come out and I asked how much longer I was told 'sorry mam room service is the restaurant focus at the moment'!
We were very disappointed that we had already paid for breakfast yet it was so terrible that we only ate there about 4 times out of our 10 night stay - other mornings we caught a gojek somewhere and went and paid extra money for a decent breakfast

The Spa/massage is really bad and they have a bad attitude. Pay for 60 min but get 30 min massage. Room stinks like sewer when you shower. Airconditioning leaks a lot in the room. In the restaurant you pay 10% more tax than anywhere else. Wifi is very poor. When asked for the manager, all he did was a quick phonecall. Refused to meet in person.

The ocean view might be the best value for any hotel that’s not in rural Bali. The room is huge. The beach is good during both low and high tide.
No dealbreakers. The hotel is very close to saltwater so corrosion will happen.

this was our 5th stay in this hotel, we love the location and the price is so affordable.
the breakfast was good, a lot of selections.
the staffers at the restaurant need more training on the product.
I noticed when a foreigner asked about something (local cake), the waiter need to ask for his supervisor to answer.
when I asked a detail about 1 of the breakfast selection, the waiter also not able to answer

I love thier beaches and the swimming pool. Thiwr pool side bar was great as well. Drinks was good amd the food is fantastic. There is 2 happening beach bar around. Finns was my visit.. very happening..
Ambiente Spa is what I not like.. the staff rushing for thier last appointment. Refuse to let us book more than 60min massage even we call in advance to let them know that we want a more than 90min treatment. The face towel on the massage bed wasn't change. It stinks. I let the staff smell it. Thier massage are not on point. It was loke a very rush service they go through.

Fantastic location on the beach. Great pool, and friendly staff.
The place is in serious need of renovation. It looks like it would have been a fantastic hotel when it was built, but no real money has been spent on up keep in many years.
