It is a very BEAUTIFUL apartment in a WONDERFUL location, on the quieter end of the Ribeira district BUT the flat is not very clean. it would have been perfect otherwise

I am really surprised that not many people mentioned anything about the level of lack of cleanliness of this apartment. Since this is managed by an agency, I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they are NOT aware that the cleaners are not really doing it at the level it is supposed to be. Yes, the property is vacuumed but everything else was just barely, or surface level cleaned. The bathroom sink/vanity and toilet were probably just barely swiped but the one where it is really evident is in the walls and shower enclosure. The mildew in the grout and rail of the glass doors have obviously not been cleaned in a while, very slimy looking grout, so it made showering uncomfortable. The kitchen counters also look like it was just barely wiped and so many fingerprint marks left on the glossy kitchen cabinet doors. So the certification of sanitary cleaning due to Covid doesn’t feel accurate in this case. The only reason we managed and felt comfortable enough is by just tking care of it myself because I always travel with Lysol wipes so I was basically cleaning surfaces that I can manage but left the walls of the bathroom alone 😰. lastly, there were some fresh food remains in the dishwasher. Also, as a previous reviewer noted, there was mold in the bedroom wall, a rather large spot. While I understand that the material of the building and the humidity can make it conducive to that, again, the cleaners should probably at least pay close attention to that so it doesnt grow. Secondly as others have mentioned, at least providing some basic supplies would have been helpful, if also at least just be able to clean up after ourselves too-like a fresh new sponge instead of the used one there 😳, a rag to wipe up spills and some coffee capsules! At the nightly rate of this flat which is on the higher end in Porto, it would have been a nice touch. The management company of this apartment is extremely responsive and communication is clear. Location was good - close to the action of the riverfront but slightly to the side, so not noisy at night. Comfortable bed Spacious room.

Shower wasn't brilliant, water not very hot.. The side view of the river was disappointing- you really had to crane your neck to see it! Coffee maker was fine - but only 2 coffee pods??

everything was exactly like on the pictures, really good place for living not only for trip, everyone were really helpful

The room wasn't ready when I arrived...so hard to even open the door..and the view wasn't as described and as in the photo..it doesn't feel like it's worth the price I paid for.

Location to landmarks and restaurants decent.

Noise all hours of day and night. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Only given two towels until asked for fresh towels during 8 night stay. No additional toiletries given. Had to purchase our own.

It was very easy to find keys and gain access into the apartment. Location of the apartment was perfect. Right on the river, beautiful view, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was very clean and had the basics. The balcony was gorgeous with doors opening straight out over the river. Very nice big screen TV with lots of channels. Internet worked well.

We had a bit of a hard time finding the building the apartment was in but did finally find it. Taxi couldn't take us right to the building so had to carry suitcases and bags down some very uneven surfaces to get to the apartment. The apartment is very basic. Could be decorated to be more homey with simple things like throw rugs and pictures on the walls. Also no toiletries provided except one bottle of body wash that also had to be used for hand soap as there was none. Only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels provided and 2 very small rolls of toilet paper for 4 day stay. We had to go buy more. These are very minor issues that could be easily fixed.

The property could do with refreshing with a coat of paint and the sofa bed needs replacing

The location was amazing. It was a bit difficult to find the place as the cab didn't really know where he was going but we managed to find it without too much trouble.

There are two doors to the juliet balcony but only one opened which limited the view.

The location was amazing!!! Helpful to have iron and ironing board.

Wish there was another set of towels available. Should change the orientation of the sofa to look out towards the water. We actually did this and it was sooooooo lovely.

Only one bath towel and handtowel each ( for a four day stay). Wouldn't have have minded so much but no washing machine and no areas to dry..

If you need to storage your luggage, you should be prepared to drag it to the office or to the locker at the station, which is at least 2 km away from apartments. No other options, We brought 30 kg luggage to the office by taxi (7 eur), then walked back to the city (2 km), after 2 hours walked back to the office again to pick up luggage, You can take a taxi as well, which would cost you 27 eur totally. When you pay per 1 night 250 -400 eur, this "luggage issue" is very unpleasant surprise. I'm not talking about wasting of time. This problem could be sold very easy - just putting some locker box downstairs at the apartments. Better to stay at any nice 4-5 stars hotel in central Porto location.

Great location and view! Host was able to accommodate early check in so we did not have to tote our luggage around which was much appreciated. Clear check in instructions were provided. The apartment was overall clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable which was important. We loved opening the windows and doors and taking in the fresh air and view. It is quite loud though, so it was nice to be able to close everything up when we went to bed and use the AC to stay comfortable. When all closed it was very dark and quiet, perfect for sleeping.

The sofa is in poor condition. It's dingy and not comfortable, it should be replaced. My husband sat on it, but I sat in a dining room chair. We stayed 2 nights and were supplied with 2 servings of coffee. It would have been appreciated to each have a cup both mornings.

Location on the river front was great!

The sofa bed wasn't ready for someone to sleep on it. Could have provided more toilet paper.

the code to door and access of key was emailed prior to arrival, however, I wasn't told the room number. Had to email them and ask once I was in the building. They responded to email rather quickly though, probably waited 10 mins or so before I found out my room number.

didnt get a view of the river as told. all the windows were to alleys. had called to confirm before I booked, and was told all the rooms are the same and pictures sent were the same, as well. room itself was rather big and nice.
