Lovely room with a big bath and comfortable bed. Clearly a lot of attention had been put into the layout of the room including a fridge with tea and milk supplied.

The bedside lamp hardly provided any light so I couldn’t read in bed. Sadly on my arrival I was told the breakfast was only being served 8-9am when I needed to leave at 8am for work. My price included breakfast so I had to pay extra to eat elsewhere. Perhaps a cold breakfast alternative could have been offered in my room.

Location was fantastic for Aylesbury theatre, just a 10 minute walk. Pub is beautiful, lovely outside seating area, food was delicious and freshly cooked. Room was lovely. Really liked the mini fridge. High end coffee bags and tea pigs available. Water in fridge and shampoo and shower gel provided. Car park was small but adequate. Really quiet and a fantastic nights sleep. Don't let the location between the Esso garage and the police station put you off, it does not detract from a fantastic stay. Will definitely book again. The staff are friendly but not intrusive...perfect! And for any nature enthusiasts, don't think I've ever seen so many buzzards circling the area!

my room was cosy and welcoming , with a lovely bath that filled very quickly . staff were friendly and very helpful. I ate an evening meal in the restaurant. The quality of the food was to a very high standard.

breakfast didn’t start until 08.00. i had to leave to attend a course at 07.45. i felt breakfast should start earlier. The staff gave me some cereal so I could eat something in the morning, which was appreciated.

I tripped over a kerb between pub and B&B, and briefly passed out, it was dark and the kerb was uneven. I wasn't confident with driving so our whole weekend was ruined. The toilet in the pub had disgusting marks (poo?) on the walls. Various things about the accommodation that would appear to be 'botch' jobs, cistern with random wood added?, holes filled with toilet paper, skirting boards supported with bubble wrap. Many other issues.

Lovely pub, characterful room. Lovely food and pleasant friendly staff. Smooth booking in process. Room was lovely, the bathroom upstairs was stunning. breakfast was really good, had full English and veggie breakfast. Best veggie sausage ever and it was huge

We booked for easy travel into Wembley by train. Location was perfect as only 10-15 min walk to train station, bar/restaurant really nice and cosy. Room was great and best night sleep I've ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was really nice and staff very friendly. Can't fault anything

very low ceilings - partner struggled & spent the trip hunched over (May just have been in our room, unsure what others are like). room only had a bath in it so no shower option despite there being a shower head (had to hold it up) but wasn’t necessarily a problem

I had a booking made through booking.com. However, when I got there they said they had no reservation for me ,even though I had a booking reference . I was a woman travelling on my own and was turned away into the street at 7pm with no offer of assistance ! I get that they say it’s not their problem , but they clearly sign up for booking.coms services so yes, this is as much your problem as it booking.coms! Someone made an error somewhere along the line. To just basically shut the door on a woman at that time of the evening is disgraceful. Booking.com keeps hounding me for a review of my stay so unfortunately here it is!

Breakfast was well cooked and we had an evening meal which was well presented, cooked very well and overall enjoyable.

Customer service was very poor at reception, put in wrong room on first night, put in right room on second day, room was left in a filthy state, especially the bathroom, stains everywhere, toilet and bath both dirty and not cleaned from previous customer. The Broad Leys is the worst room I have rented for outside noise with the road not quieting down till well after midnight. Staff didn't know I had paid for the stay and I had to prove it by showing them my bank details on my phone and had to do this three times and had to show proof of the room I had booked as it was an extra charge for it but for why I have no idea. in total worst place I've had the misfortune to stay.

Quiet room with beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Extremely convenient for walking into town. Ample parking. Amazing bathroom with plenty of room.

Couple of extremely minor issues. Room wasn't ready on check-in time and had to wait an extra 30 minutes which is NOT the end of the world, but unfortunately we were on a tight time schedule and it made things a bit stressy for me. Also told breakfast was served at a certain time by one member of staff and a different time from another. Correct times were in the information folder in the room. No milk or milk powder for hot drinks but I didn't discover this until the early hours of the morning otherwise I would have asked the staff or popped across to the petrol station next door to get some milk. Like I say, extremely minor issues.
