The house was very clean and located 1.6 miles from everything Cape May has to offer! An added bonus, the neighbors are so friendly! Make sure to bring a throw blanket, as evening are perfect for sitting out front enjoying the sunsets.

This is a town I grew up in and have been vacationing for decades so it was easy to search for areas I wanted accommodations. I was looking for quiet and laid back and that’s exactly what I got. Everything is close so just 5 minutes away from town and the beach has its own vibe. The accommodations were simple and well maintained. This listing provided a great escape for catching up with my kids and their partners and grandchild. Hammock out front is house under the trees was very relaxing and used often. A few of us fell asleep on it. The house was clean and the owner left notes in various locations to assist with questions we may have had. If I need a place that fits 6 comfortably, I will check to see if the home is available again.

We loved the Cottage! It is beautifully furnished, had everything we needed, was super clean, and had plenty of storage space for our gear. The hammock, pond, and grounds are all a fun bonus. We are big fans of West Cape May and loved the proximity to Rea’s, Beach Plum Farm, and Willow Creek Winery. We didn’t expect a great forecast but the Cape May bubble came through and it was a gorgeous weekend with only a couple hours of evening rain… so we even spent time on the beach!

The house was really nice and the scenery was beautiful. I grew up on a lake, so I absolutely loved hearing the ducks quacking. Totally enjoyable!

We enjoyed the peaceful property and watching the birds. It was lovely sitting on the front porch in the morning and evenings. A quick bike ride, walk, drive to areas of Cape May! Very clean property.

Property was great. Close to the beach, but nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the view of the pond, waking up to peaceful surroundings each morning. Everything was very clean and it was a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely week at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Really loved the hammock and the view of the pond and the ducks. It was centrally located - 5 min from the beaches.

Great beach spot. Nice property not in the chaos of the town center. Pond is a great view and plenty of land for kids to Run around.

My husband and I booked this property for our Anniversary getaway, with our dog "Doc". Everything about the place was wonderful! It was a sweltering 90 degrees and humid when we arrived and the AC was pumping away for our moving in process. "The mowers", who were still mowing when we arrived, turned out to be the owner who lives next door. He was immediately welcoming and courteous. Ended up having some nice visits with him through our stay. Great guy. I was weary of leaving Doc crated in an unfamiliar town, but I felt very safe about it after meeting the owner. Dog beach was a 15 minute drive to Wildwood, and we would return in the afternoon to enjoy the shaded porch area where Doc stared longingly at the pond full of ducks and geese. The house is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. I am so happy we fell upon this listing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful 5 acres of serenity with us. We hope to return!

House may be on 5 acres but there are 3 others house right on top of you. Neighbors are friendly but if you are looking for a little privacy this isn’t it. You sit out front facing the road as there is not a big back yard with any deck or chairs. Clean and nice to stay at.

Quiet retreat, pond and location perfect! Near horses and five minutes from town.

Great location to tour some wineries either a short car ride or a slightly longer bike ride. Also, a nice bike ride to the beach.

We booked the property for 10 days. Upon arrival, we found that the basement, garage and electrical system were under renovation . We found the basement flooded, electrical cables and appliances sitting in water and two snakes moving around. We immediatly informed the agency that we would move out the very next day and expected a full refund. Neither the manager nor the owner accepted any reaponsibility and both categorically refused to refund any amount. VRBO registered the issue but declined any responsibility and refused to consider any process that would lead to compensation.

This house is so cozy. Our favorite part was the fireplace! It warmed up the entire house. Great location and close to many shops and markets.

We had a great time in Cape May and the cottage was perfect for my husband and I, and our two children, ages 15 and 10 months. We live on a 16 acre field and are used to our privacy, so this cottage was just that! Close enough to town and all the fun stuff, yet far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Plus we were able to bring our furbabies! The yard is great for dogs too! Will Definately be returning back to this peaceful cottage soon!

This is a lovely home on a beautiful setting. Its so close to the bay beaches and to the central happenings in Cape May. We loved our stay here

After all the chaos of a beach day you can return to you quiet oasis and unwind with out all the noises from downtown. It’s only a few min drive to the most beautiful beach( in front of the Cove Restaurant) watch the surfers and enjoy your beach time. Love this house

Lovely property. Very clean and sweet. Great for a family and pet; although we decided not to bring our pet after all and frankly, there are a lot of geese on the property because of the nearby pond and they would have driven her crazy, so it was best we did not bring her. But it was a lovely stay.

Our family of 4 and dog had a very nice visit. The property was clean and had a nice front yard to walk the dog. Enjoyed watching the geese around the pond. Location was a little too far-away-feeling from town for my taste but an easy 5 min drive to all. Only suggestion would be to add mattress toppers to beds (not very comfortable) and blinds or black out shades so kids will sleep in :) Thank you.

I enjoyed my Christmas holiday with my family....the house was perfect....the only thing I could say about the house was they need a new front door step....it’s very high & hard to get up with luggage

We enjoyed everything about our visit. Great location, such a comfortable cozy home where we were able to make fun meals, enjoy time with friends and the festivities of Cape May Christmas. You are at the beach but out in the country, such a great combo!

This place was perfect for a family wedding and get away weekend in Cape May. Very clean and clutter free. Plenty of room inside for whole family to laugh around the large dining room table and free firewood for fire outside to enjoy more laughs making smores. Perfect coffee setting in the morning with a great view of the pond. Short drive to the beach and hustle and bustle of Cape May town but nice to come back to a relaxing setting. My husband and seven-year-old daughter and our dog spent the week at this wonderful getaway. My daughter was able to learn to ride her bike because of the long driveway in front. We cooked s’mores on the outside grill while enjoying at the beautiful views on the property. The owners were wonderful and attentive when needed. I can’t express how wonderful our vacation was. We can’t wait to go back!
