Lovely swimming pool area and terrace for breakfast. Room had a spacious balcony with adequate furniture for relaxing & taking in the view. Private parking was available on site. Owners were welcoming and helpful.

One of our rooms was upgraded to a suite. Decent breakfast on offer. Location good. €15 for a taxi to centre of town. Swimming pool was a bonus.

We were charged €15 for 2 330ml beers by the host which was excessive.

Very kind hosts, we were told what to visit, what to see, best options for dinner in the city etc. Breakfast was right one. Swimming pool is available, but unfortunately we had no time to use it. Car parking available in hosts terithory.

Agrigento area itsef is quite dirty. A lot of rubbish is thrown out on the side of the streets. It could be much more pleasant and sustainable we feel if people's mind would change.

It's a bit out of town and you definitely need a car to get there

It is easy to find and set off back from the main road. We didn’t notice bad traffic noise, it was actually a very relaxing place. It is just about 8 mins in the car into Agrigento which is a great visit but I wouldn’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle. Villa del Sole Relais ticked that box for us. We were checked in by the daughter of the owners (my apologies for forgetting her name), she speaks very good English. She gave us a lot of information about the surrounding areas and places recommended to eat and drink and the places we wanted to see. We were given a map where she showed us directions to the places we discussed, she was really helpful and nice. The room was spotlessly clean with a fridge, kettle and drinks. There was also a coffee and water machine just outside the door in a lobby type area, which was there for us and one other apartment. The large terrace was lovely to sit on and look out over Agrigento, it was peaceful. There were blackouts on the huge windows onto the terrace and the bed was a firm memory foam, it was the best night sleep we had all of our trip (visiting and stopping in many areas ofSicily). The pool area is a very good size, bigger than I thought from the photographs. Unfortunately we never got to use it as we had so many things to see. Other guests were using it and at breakfast they were saying how refreshing it was. Oh and breakfast was a continental spread, plentiful and fresh. What I had I can comment on, the coffee was very very good, the bread soft and fresh as were the sweet pastries, ham and cheese. There is parking for the car. I cannot forget Ugo, he is the family dog who is lovely. If anyone is worried about dogs, don’t be,he isn’t around all the time and he doesn’t bother people. If you want to stroke him he is happy to oblige. It is family run, a family home in part of the property and they cannot do enough for you.

the room was comfortable, clean with a good air con system, and had a view across to the cathedral. secure parking was on site and breakfast were good. The pool was an excellent facility to have.

The room was described as a "junior suite", but was really a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It was also described as sea view when in fact the sea was 7kms away and the other side of a hill. A car is essential as there are no restaurants within walking distance.

The owner was super nice, and helpful. Gave us great recommendations! Highly recommended in Agrigento

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, bathroom was good. The hosts are super nice and helpful with the organisation of our stay in Agrigento. They also gave us a good recommendation for dinner. Breakfast is very nice, they even make you an omelette of a fried egg freshly. The view from the terrace is spectacular.

Antonella and her staff made me and my wife feel very welcome. The property was a unique gem with an amazing view of the historical district. She provided us with tips and directions that were greatly appreciated.

Overall, there was nothing that I did not like. All that was promised was fulfilled and I had peace of mind while touring the area. This was such a great experience, I will look to book again when I return to the area someday.
