Location and architectural concept

Required significant maintenance. Blinds did not work so could not keep the building cool’ Too many windows were locked and did not open >>> very poor overnight ventilation. Upon request the property managers sent a handyman to get one window open … other windows remained locked. Grateful for the prompt attention on the one window. Does not appear to be any system to ensure the property is always in good order.

Everything! An amazing property with everything you could need. So relaxing. A great place to rest and refresh.

Nothing. The only thing we could think of is that it would have been great to have a fire pit outside or an open fire inside.

Cloudy Bay Beach House is a beautiful place to stay on Bruny Island. It has the most amazing views and is tucked away in a very private location. It is a very easy house to relax in and it caters well for a number of people. We had 3 couples staying for 3 nights and it was perfect even with some bad weather - there were games etc provided and it was nice to stay at the house and enjoy the stormy conditions tucked up in the warm living area. The house provides all that you need for your stay. It is around a 20-30 minute drive from the hotel/vineyard/ Adventure Bay. It is nice to be able to visit those areas easily and quickly but at the same time come back to the very private Cloudy Bay. Communications with the manager and access to the property was easy. There was definitely no problems with the organisation of our stay. We will definitely go back !

Superb location with spectacular views. An amazing house. Really well equipped with all that you could need. the facilities in the house were superb. Lots of wildlife roaming around the house, and the beach is just a short walk down the road. A great experience watching the weather roll in over the southern ocean!! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

There are two padlocked gates to traverse on the entry and exit to the property - great for safety, but slows you down. The indicated boardwalk to the beach ends up in a small pond, so you need to wade out to the beach - not good for walking down to the beach.

Peace and serenity

The only issue was one of the heaters didn’t work ... otherwise stay couldn’t be faulted.
