One of the best places I have ever been. I would love to return here anytime! Excellent location, and a great host! I felt safe and welcomed the cozy garden. 5 minutes of walking from the city center

The ac was working great the place was clean and breakfast was good

You had to go to the cafe for breakfast

No kitchenette, no kettle, no coffee machine..colder shower and WiFi working only at one particular point 100%..ok I have to admit I was a bit stressed solving something at home (where WiFi don’t working was not rely helping..)..honestly Acireale was the worst place I visited in Catania..really regretted I was told to go there..There is no beach - even though marked on map..and very shape way down. The city is boring - few churches / cathedral and dead (only on the night. Overall it was the worst money spent and I regretted every moment I was there, spoilt my vacation. Really not worth it for a single traveler..compared to other locations..

I liked everything.

The Durlindana's rooms look over a very pretty garden with a lemon tree. It is very quiet, and in an excellent location close to the Duomo. The hosts are ready to help with any questions. Breakfast is in the best bar in town.

The Durlindana is great, but the rooms are not well insulated for sound, so you can hear people moving around upstairs, and talking in the rooms next door.

We chose Acireale as a nearby alternative to the chaos of a big city (Catania). In winter it seems sleepy, but there are still many restaurants and bars, as well as a lively centro. The apartment is a short stroll from the centro storico but on a wonderfully quiet side road. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. The heater was very quiet and efficient. The bathroom is large enough to dance in. The owner was welcoming and ready to answer our every question, including his favorite restaurants.

The Wi-fi was fast but not accessible in some corners of the apartment. The walls of the bathroom are thin and we could hear every noise from outside.
