Breakfast was excellent, and they met our sons gluten free needs generously. Very kind and attentive. Gave us an extra bed so our sons could have their own space. Gave us plates and cutlery for our takeaway! Nothing was too much trouble.

We struggled with the shower, which seemed to run too hot or too cold.

The property is beautiful, the hosts carnt do enough to accommodate you. We where traveling with a 5 year old and nearly 1 year old, and Katie went over and above to provide a travel cot and blankets. She was very accommodating to the kids needs without even been asked. The room was beautiful and bed super comfy. Everything was immaculately clean, bathroom had a fantastic shower. Breakfast is brilliant, fresh and homemade ticked every box for us. Will definitely be staying again soon

Nothing not to like

Absolutely everything was amazing from the exposed timber joists, very warm welcome by the hosts, the quality of the finish in the room was exceptional and the breakfast was fanominal. Very quiet surroundings, absolute bliss. We WILL be returning. 😁

I didn't like the fact we only stayed for 1 night.

Stunning building, much nicer than i expected for the price of the smallest room which was double the size of a premier in. Wish i found this sooner after spending the majority of the year travelling back and forth to Carlisle.

Wish there was a vegetarian option for breakfast, but that's being super picky.

Very peaceful, comfortable bed and good fry up breakfast. Owner was lovely and recommended a great spot for dinner only 5 minutes drive away.

A really lovely place to stay - we loved Fiddleback Farm. It's in a great location and very easy access to the North Lakes. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and very happy to offer advice about where to eat etc. Delicious breakfast too.

Nothing - all good.

Fiddleback farm has a perfect location, very close to the main road to Carlisle but far enough away not to get any traffic noise. Parking is hard standing ideal for my motorbike. The room was very comfortable, good size with private bathroom. There was a kettle in the room for coffee. Breakfast choice was filled out on a tick list sheet the night before and breakfast was excellent. Loads to eat cereal, fruit yogurt, eggs/ bacon etc and toast with either tea or coffee. This I was my second time here and will definately return. Ticks every box for me.

Friendly, welcoming host. Well-organised and beautifully cooked and presented breakfast. Knowing our onward plans, took the trouble to inform us of motorway delays. Interesting old farmhouse, design reflective of name. Very clean and fresh, tasteful decor.

Would have liked an extra towel, though suspect this would have been provided if asked. Lighting in room 4 not great for reading.

Can’t think of anything.

The B&B was homely and the hosts were lovely, they made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, good quality produce. Loved the quirkiness of the building.

I felt the pillows were a little firm for our taste, but did not stop us having a good night's sleep

There was plenty of good quality food to choose from for breakfast. The breakfast room was stylish and charming with a lovely view out onto a cared-for section of garden. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with another lovely view from the window. There was even a small lounge for guests to use if they wish. The location of the property was ideal, near to the road but still with surrounding countryside. We would recommend it to anyone. Kate, the host was most welcoming and professional.

This place is a hidden Gem! A Unique round house hidden at the top of the Lake District with its own unusual character. Our Ensuite room was truly special , it's worth driving out that extra mile for you really won't be disappointed. Breakfast is an added bonus that saw us through our day after a long 10 mile walk. We will definitely be returning
