service not so good/no passion; hotel room space arrangement not so ideal: bedroom relatively too small, bath and toilet area too big..

1. We arrived at the hotel at 12:20 and, as the kids were too hungry, we went straight to the 6th-floor Chinese restaurant for a meal. To quickly have lunch, we ordered noodles, thinking they would be prepared the fastest. However, we had to wait until 1:20, an hour later, when the noodles were finally ready, and by that time, we were already angry and decided to leave. On that day, half of the tables in the restaurant were empty, so I believe the hotel has serious issues with restaurant management. 2. The hotel's swimming pool has been outsourced to some coaches who provide swimming lessons to non-resident guests. 3. The Wi-Fi in the rooms is very unstable. 4. The hotel staff lacks proper training, and they are unable to anticipate customers' needs. The hotel layout is extremely unreasonable; the check-in counter is on the 5th floor, yet not a single staff member informed me of this. I went to the 6th floor for a meal, then returned to the 1st floor, only to be told about the check-in being on the 5th floor. 5. The restaurant that serves breakfast has a children's playground, causing an extremely noisy dining environment.

Staff couldn’t all speak English

Everything about this place was fantastic. The location 10 minutes walk to the beach, across the road is a high end Shopping Mall, subway station at the hotel entrance. Breakfast buffet filled with varieties of Chinese and Continental food of choices. As a foreigner was able to communicate with the outer world on WhatsApp and WeChat which I wasn’t able to do in other hotels in China due to internet restrictions.

It was clean and well maintained.

It was a bit far from some attractions I was interested in.

The staff is very helpful, special thanks to the room attendant James Guo. He managed to clean my room promptly when I complained to FO that the room was still very dirty while I first came to the room after check-in.

The room wasn’t cleaned up well.

The Club lounge package was very good value for the dinner meal and drinks. The Suite was very nice and clean and the TV had a good package.

The only blight was when I arrived at 3pm the room wasn't ready. I left for some shopping and when I came back at 4:30pm the room still wasn't ready. Check In was at 3pm and I was annoyed as I had seen many people check in before me. I explained my displeasure and they found me another room.
