Loved the seaside feel of the room with possibly the best view in town? The binoculars were an excellent touch and we had a quiet night's sleep.

Room/ bed was a little small.

Small double room with a huge area to sit outside deck chairs x 2 and table and 2 chairs. Bath with 2 showers. Location perfect on the beach but a sea view. Dinner superb! Full credits to chef & great 2 x waitress that evening. Parking slot

No shower cap. Alot of noise from room above. My daughter could hear tv in other rooms and found it noisey too. Soon fell asleep

Because it's getting popular parking could become a problem because there are more rooms than spaces available. Also not only having to pay for breakfast on top of the price you have to pay for tea and coffee ☕ on top of that as well.

Was surprised brekkie wasn’t included in the stay and had to pay £8.50 for my 2 yr olds slice of toast and banana. Other than that, lovely stay.

The room was very nice, it had both wine and Prosecco glasses which was a nice touch. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was modern. The bed was very comfortable and we had a balcony which allowed spectacular views of the seafront.

we had a balcony but it looked at the back of the building. my fault I didn’t check the fine print. we had coffee and toast for breakfast. it took a couple of goes to get cutlery. my husband’s coffee was stone cold. very helpful staff though

Room was clean, lots of steps, no lifts

The staff need more training, no service, check-in welcome very poor, not advised where room was. Returning later no greeting/no eye contact/no smiling at guests. Overheard conversation about a new starter 'who just because she used to alter bookings for booking.com in her previous place doesnt mean she can do it here' this convesation took place in reception area; unprofessional

the hotel was very clean and comfortable our bedroom although small (which we knew it was going to be) was lovely nice bathroom and lovely massive very comfortable bed. plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room staff very nice and helpful,

the only issue we had was in the Bar/Restaurant. we ate there the first night and the food was very nice my issue was getting charged 10% service charge on the drinks, haven't got a problem being charged 10% service on the food bill (we usually give 10/15% for good service) but being charged 10% service charge on a pint of beer and a glass of wine which were both nearly £7.00 before the service charge so £7.70 each, which i actually carried from the bar to our table myself is i think taking the micky (I'm being polite) When you add up my drinks bill of 2 pints of lager and 2 glasses of wine at the hotels price + 10% service charge it made it a very expensive drink ! One would have thought they may have offered residents of the hotel a discount on eating and drinking in the hotel instead of punishing them with a hefty bill . needless to say we didn't eat or drink in the hotel on the remaining 2 nights of our stay so i guess they shot themselves in the foot really as we intended to eat and drink there all the time .

The best hotel in Whitstable with views, great staff, super clean rooms, superb food (fish and chips) and over all great value for money.
