Very friendly hosts, and a very well thought out way of handling loadshedding with emergency lights that come on, wifi throughout, and even glow in the dark indicators on the stairs for safety! Old style house with lots of charm and very comfortable!

The location is good , the owner is extremely excellent and her staff are good. The place and rooms are very clean, the breakfast was always delicious..

Everything was just perfect. The bed big and comfortable, the room had a heater, the bathroom was very big and the breakfast delicious. I really liked that the water knobs in the shower were right on the side of the door. Means you could turn on the water without being sprayed with cold water!

The property is ideally placed for people visiting the Eastern Cape. Close to the see (sea view) and close to all the other tourist spots in Port Alfred.

The host and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing. The room was very comfortable, with little extras like chocolates and cookies. The hairdryer, iron and ironing board were a bonus.
I specifically wanted a room with a bath as I don't like showers. Unfortunately Port Alfred has a water shortage. Although the bathroom had a bath I was told not to use it making the shower the only option in order to conserve water. I was unaware of this until after I checked in. It would have influenced my decision to stay there.
