I don’t normally leave reviews, so for me to take the time to do this means it was something very special. The property managers, Paul and Christine, were absolutely wonderful. They were super responsive, and answered all of our questions before, during, and on our departure. The property is absolutely striking. Attention to detail was everywhere. From the largest to the smallest. Everything in the home work perfectly. The sauna and the hot tub were an absolute blast in the evening! Pretty fantastic in the morning too. Quiet Cove was a delight. Walking down the stairs at any time you wanted to swim, in water that you could stand in, was heavenly. Especially at night looking up at the stars to see the big dipper. My wife and I rent 4 to 5 different lake houses every year on LBJ. This is going to be our number one go to moving forward. I have to give them a perfect 5 Star review! Ray F. PS. Our Keurig failed on the first morning, and when I opened up the cabinet, they actually had Folgers coffee and coffee filters in there. It saved my day and helped me come back from a horrendous hangover! Lol! Thanks for the special touches like that and shampoo and cream rinse in all the bathrooms, and all the other little extras that made our trip so much more pleasant.

Always spend 4th of July in Kingsland and this house had the best view for fireworks!! Loved all the different areas to hang out. Floating in front of the house is great, not deep, bottom is a bit mushy. House has all you need!! Great communication with owners. Thanks Paul and Chris!

Home was well furnished and availability of boat rental a big plus.

This was our second time to stay here and we had an amazing time. Can’t wait to stay again!

The house was great. We all enjoyed our time there. Everything that we needed was there. Loved the spices already present. Beds were comfortable. Nice towels. Variety of outdoor seating options. They were very easy to work with. Would love to go back.

Just what we needed! We enjoy the quiet cove. Our sons had fun floating and playing corn hole. We bring our boat and the dock makes it easy on and off.

Our family had a great time. The house is very nice and had everything we needed. We brought our boat. The ramp was convenient and there’s room to store the trailer in the driveway. This was our first time on this part of the river/lake. It’s beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. There’s lots of places to ski, swim or whatever you want to do. There are a couple of restaurants in the area with boat access. We’re looking forward to our next stay.

We were looking for a place to relax as a family and unplug for a few days. The house is perfect, abundant outside space, terrific grill & deck. Everything you need is here - if we’re in the area again we will stay here again. Clean, spacious, good location & Christine & Paul were very responsive via email with all questions.

My family and I had a great stay at the pelican landing. We celebrated Christmas there and sat on the balcony. This house was in the perfect location and the neighborhood was quiet. The house had all the amenities you needed and then some. Thanks again for having us in your home!! The Weddles

Wonderful lake house with everything needed for 6 adults (and 2 dogs) to host Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the amenities - hot tub, and a sauna after some kayaking on a cool, misty afternoon.

So glad we chose this home for our family get away! It’s very pretty, right on the water, comfortable & lots to do ! We really appreciated the family & pet friendly home. We enjoyed S’mores in the evening by the fire and board games inside for a nice family time. There are also many fun things to do in Kingsland & Marble Falls. We loved the Longhorn Cavern, downtown Marble Falls & the pie at Blue Bonnet Cafe, just to name a few. We would definitely recommend this home & love to go back for another fun family trip !!

We had a perfect stay.! The house was bright, clean and had all the amenities that we wanted. The location was perfect being so close to Kingsland. We loved the patio area and the amazing butterfly garden!

Communication with property owners was great! The house is in a quiet cove and was just what we needed. Renting a boat was easy, and the hot tub was amazing and also very clean (just like the home). We will be back for sure.

The flower garden was a nice surprise.

We have stayed at this property for several years for our mom's weekend. The place was wonderful once again! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

My family and I spent a week at the Pelican. Paul and Christine were helpful the entire time we were there. They were accessible and easy to deal with. The ability to rent their boat is extremely nice. A daily boat rental is roughly $135/hr whether you are using it or not. That gets expensive real quick. They let you rent their boat on a "run-time" hourly charge. So you can rent their boat for a week for the same price you would pay for a one day boat rental. Needless to say, that is a perk that pushes this property to the top. Would rent here again.

Very good location for all activities. House was well stocked and very nice. The only issue was construction workers building 2 homes to the side of us. But looks like they will be done soon with the outside. Overall a great find.

This property was exactly as advertised! Perfect for our family of 5 adults, 1 child and the dog! Inside and out the property is well maintained. So many areas to relax, visit and play games! Kitchen has every appliance you would need, comfortable beds, ceiling fans and regular fans for those that like the wind in your face! We used the hot tub, sauna and the kayaks! The river in the cove was peaceful. This was a no cooking trip so we visited a few restaurants in the area. Mostly bar and grill food options. Chris was great and quickly responded to any questions I had about the property! Our stay came to an end to soon!

Great place for a group of girlfriends to spend a weekend…very clean, great AC, lots of space for everyone (we were a group of 7) + great outdoor areas. We loved the breezes upstairs and down and spent mornings and evenings enjoying the fresh air from the lake. Nice and quiet with trees all around. Loved having access to the kayaks to paddle both the quiet cove and the lakeshore, and communication and check-in were super easy. Lovely spot!

We loved our weekend at the Pelican! The house was perfectly represented by the online posting. The kitchen had everything we needed to took meals each night, comfortable beds, clean, and plenty of towels in the bathrooms! Super great communication with the hosts and easy check in process. I would definitely book again! The boat ramp access was a breeze if you bring your own boat and there is plenty of parking which always adds to making a weekend hassle-free! Everything was excellent! Fishing wasn’t the best.

A wonderful stay with parents, in-laws and friends. Spent our days on the lake and our evenings in the hot tub and sauna - what’s not to like?!

We really enjoyed this house! It was very well appointed, the great kitchen, and very clean. The owners were very responsive and were great to work with. It’s in a great location, we enjoyed the wineries and state parks. We will definitely come back!
