Not sure how it was scored 8+ for cleanliness, as we found it very very dirty. The bed sheets were clearly used and full of hair! The toilet was clean compared to the bed. There is no Wi-Fi at all! When we asked, we were told there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the reception area but even there we could not connect. Extremely poor value for money. I understand it is an hostel but for 73$ at night it should offer much much more! NOT RECOMMENDED

When I arrived, the people were super nice! I liked the rooms and the style of the house. It was quite convenient to have a fridge and a microwave in the room. I appreciated to have the choice between two rooms at arrival.

In the end, however, the bad experience completely overshadowed everything. I had tried to pay by credit card when I arrived, but was shown the device with an error message - so I then paid cash. Unfortunately, after I left, it turned out that the transaction had been made after all. So I had paid twice. I contacted the hostel but got no reply. Then I asked booking.com for help, but could not prove that I had paid twice because the receipt did not show the payment method. I call that fraud! There, the young man on the early shift on the day of departure is no longer worth mentioning. Also not, that WiFi was not available in room 2, because of the position of the WiFi transmitter.

As a hostel it is suited more for backpackers than travellers

Walls paper thin and a little seedy. Shower inconsistent with water going from hot to cold continuously. Parking a nightmare being blocked in due to lack os space

Friendly landlady and staff. Decorated with eclectic mix of souvenirs from around the world. Room did include private bathroom attached and a basic breakfast was included - neither was in the description. Water and tea/coffee kettle were in room.

Close to busy road but not much traffic until 8am.

The location was within walking distance of the bus terminal and the downtown plaza with restaurants and the woman at the front desk was very friendly

There wasn’t very much information about what was available in the area. I don’t expect to everyone to be able to speak English but it would have been nice to have some maps or lists of recommended places to eat
