Good location and a great view from the terrace. Staff was friendly

The bathroom needed a proper cleaning. The shower curtain was covered with mould and was really gross. The room we had wasn't the one advertised and opened onto the street not the courtyard and was quite noisy as a result. The wifi did not work at all

In general it's alright, it's clean and quiet. It's more like a guesthouse than a hostel since the owner's family lives there. The location is nice but be prepared to walk uphill for a while to get there. The view from the terrace is nice

Wifi almost did't work (and it's not because of the town because in other places in Tilcara is was alright), the kitchen was closed because of COVID (a notification in advance would have been nice since it's fundamental for hostels) so I had to ask the owner's family every time I needed to use the fridge and was not allowed to use anything else at the kitchen. The breakfast on the photos here is bigger than it actually was. Also the cord from a radiator in my room didn't reach the plug so it was impossible to use it, fortunately it wasn't that cold most of the nights.
