Room is clean and well presented
Nestled in the rainforest with the animals.
Shower is small & noisy but saves water because your keen to get out 😉 Good pressure tho!

Our meal at Barron Valley hotel was 1 of the best meals on our journey, thank you for recommendation from the Motel owner. Beautiful Historical Hotel with top class service.
Loved waking up the beautiful sound of the Cockatoos Yes some people may find annoying but waking with nature around is just so amazing.
Please stay here on your travels, affordable and comfortable.

We had a one night stop over at this property. We are familiar with Atherton so knew the best pub for meals but it was also the one recommended by our host! Room was immaculately clean and well presented.
There was nothing to fault with this property!

Clean and comfortable. Lovely view onto bush. We even saw a Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo from our window. Easy walk to restaurants.

The place was very clean. It obviously had been renovated and probably amongst the best motels I have visited

We liked the location and how quiet it was.
Smoking area was too close to rooms. (Other guests smoking outside their rooms and smoke entered our room. Had to keep windows closed. Even though rooms were on ground level, there was two steps into the room and then a step into bathroom
As I was in a wheelchair that made it difficult

Bathroom was outdated and very small. For the price we paid you would expect something better.

Pretty good for what I needed. Great shower. Appreciate the microwave. Bit dated, but it was ok.
The bed was a bit too firm for me. The towels were a bit thin. Need mugs, not small cups ( I didn’t think anyone still used them )

Great location to explore the tablelands. Nice and close to Woolworths and restaurants.
Had to be careful with food and dishes- due to ants and insects, but that's to be expected in the tropics. Bathroom was very cosy.
