Wir sind mit 2 Erwachsenen, einem 1-jährigen Kind und einem Hund angereist. Beim Buchungsvorgang haben wir (nach Rücksprache mit Booking.com und dem Hotel!!!) ein Doppelzimmer buchen (Kind schläft mit im Elternbett). Vor Ort wurde uns dann gesagt, dass wir mit einem Kind kein Doppelzimmer belegen dürfen. Hintergrund wäre der Brandschutz. Um übernachten zu dürfen müssten wir ein Familienzimmer buchen. Unser Argument, dass man sich den Reinigungsaufwand etc. für ein größeres Familienzimmer sparen könne, da die Betten ohnehin nicht genutzt werden, waren der Rezeptionistin egal. Wir haben dann 30 Euro Aufpreis für ein Familienzimmer gezahlt. Als wir das Familienzimmer betreten haben ist uns schlecht geworden. Der vorherige Gast hat offensichtlich im Zimmer geraucht. Asche auf der Fensterbank und Zigarettenstummel unterm Bett haben das bestätigt. Leider war kein anderes Familienzimmer mehr frei. Wir haben dann darum gebeten, uns ein Doppelzimmer zu geben. Wir hätten den Aufpreis von 30 Euro auch nicht zurückverlangt. Aber wegen des Brandschutzes dürfte die Rezeptionistin uns kein Doppelzimmer geben. Interessant war, dass hinter uns eine Familie mit kleinem Kind am Self-Check-In-Terminal, sprich ohne persönlichen Kontakt, in ein Doppelzimmer eingecheckt hat. Da uns kein anderes Familienzimmer angeboten werden konnte, konnten wir nicht im B&B Hotel übernachten und wir standen ohne Hotelzimmer in Bad Homburg.

Short walking distance to the town center, staff was friendly
Booked a family room to have some space for that many days - but the room had a double bed and two stacked beds, with minimal space around, smaller than a normal double room at IBIS or similar. Small table, small TV nearly touching the ceiling - not very comfortable to watch

I was there for 3 nights.
Basically, Due to the long working and busy day in Bad Homburg, I come into the hotel late.
I expected to see the clean room, bed linen change, bed arranged, rubbish had to be clean and empty on the second and last day, but unfortunately, it was not. The toilet and shower room were not cleaned during my stay.
I asked the reception for the reason, They said, the cleaning service is working until 12:00 noon. He also mentioned that they consider my points for tomorrow's cleaning service (meaning on the last day which was my check-out time :) )
The reception was not friendly and polite. A bit nervous about my requests.

asked the night before if we could buy breakfast in the morning. we got the answer that it would t be a problem. but then I get day after only one of our two family’s were allowed to eat since the breakfast might “run out”.

Parking only on the street, if available! Really challenging if you arrive late.
Room was a very small double room, no proper space to open a suitcase. Very basic interior.

If you have a "troubled" sleep, maybe the noise from the train station is a little bit annoying, at mornings. Ask for a room at the other side of the hotel.
