We had already come a few years ago and we had a wonderful memory of it. Nothing has changed, and the most important thing is the kindness of our hostess and her daughter, and the welcome we received. The view is wonderful, the cleanliness of the place impeccable. For us this is the best place to stay in Kalymnos.

Everything was amazing, it is a lovely family owned place, you really feel like you are their guest in their home and they are super happy to have you. Super clean, dedicated, hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. The views are stunning, the myrties area is already a really nice part of the island, but the view from the hotel was breathtaking. Super large balcony to see the sun go down, a minute away from the beach, this place was in one word superb!

we liked it very much as the room is spacious and gets cleaned everyday, beautiful vieuw from a spacious balcony. Irene and her mother are really very lovely and it was just nice to spent 4 days in Sunset. Thanks for a lovely stay🙏🏽❤️

There wasn't always hot water for the shower in the morning.

Our studio was beautiful, well equipped and always extremely clean. The place is run by the loveliest family who treated us with such kindness and care we have never felt more welcome. We will be returning here for certain on our next visit to Kalymnos! Also, the sunsets were sublime:)

unfortunately, the rooms are not really acoustically isolated so that when people get in/out and if they don't pay attention, it is noisy. A simple document on the door before entering in the house would be a way to reduce this.

We were most pleased with everything. The bed, cleaning, balcony with great view. The staff were most kind and the room and dishes were made everyday. They even had a sandwich grill. near a small supermarket och the beach.

Fabulous view. Well awkward steps to get to it.

1. We arrived at 1.30 in the morning. The owners arranged for a taxi to meet us which was great. However, there was a misunderstanding as to who was to pay for it. We thought they had said it was gratis, but when we arrived the taxi driver asked for a hefty 23 euros, which we had no choice to pay. The owners said they had never said it was gratis. No big deal, but just make sure who is paying if a taxi is arranged for you. Taxi drivers later told us that the fare is 12 euros during the day, but extra at night. 2. We loved the view, but beware it is a long hard climb up steep steps to the hotel, so not a place for the faint hearted.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the family hosts are wonderful. We had a great large room with a fantastic private balcony. Kitchen by the standards of the island was well equipped--i.e. one could actually cook with the hob and utensils/pots provided unlike many other apartments on Kalymnos in the area. Daily high quality cleaning was provided as well. The hosts even carried our baggage in the rain back to our car when we left. Not needed, but they felt they had to! We will be back.

Nothing. As noted by others, it is not drivable to this accommodation. One must lug the baggage a few minutes uphill up a stairs (outside) to the Sunset. And each day when one returns, of course one must do the same. Not at all a deal breaker for us, but for some it might be. We enjoyed it.

93 steps from road to room a bit of a drag. Wasn't great value compared to what others on the trip paid with same facilities and not steps! almost 50 % too expensive really

Nice apartments up high with a great view. A very kind and thoughtful family runs sunset and I felt very welcome and looked after.
