Feels cozy and doesn’t have the feeling of a crowded hotel.

We liked it all.

Kosy Vik was exactly what we were looking for. after going on a glacier hike and ice cave discovery tour we were exhausted and it was perfect for a one night stop over on our way back to Reykjavik. The owner was so helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed.

The breakfast was arranged in a picnic like basket and had plentiful cheese, meat, fruit, bread, crackers and juice boxes. We were able to snack on it for lunch as well. The host Hrund was so very warm and welcoming we wanted to stay longer. She accommodated our late arrival, making it so easy for us to go directly to the room. We appreciated that, as we were exhausted from hiking to the volcano and driving from Grindivic. The room was very clean and comfortable. She offered maps and travel suggestions the next day which we did. It was a perfect location to appreciate the black sand beaches.

Amazing hospitality from Hrund. All the little extras in the room /for our stay was very much appreciated. Shower is fab and bed was lovely and comfy. There is a large decking area with a fantastic view of the whole of Vik and the sea landscape. Hrund really made our stay better including recommendations to a tasty restaurant close by, use of warmer ponchos to watch the views, and ofc the welcome drink /breakfast pastry :) Great value also. Would 100% stay again.

Small hotel, 2 rooms I liked that. Quiet. Excellent host (she made banana bread for us). Great location (black sand beaches were spectacular). Supermarket in town and gas station.

Beautiful accommodation, spacious room and very clean. very friendly host and family - she even baked fresh pastry for us and gave us champagne for our honeymoon!

It was in a great location, walking distance to town and all of the restaurants and shopping.

The location is very good. All restaurants and the beach in Vík are walkable. Also good location to explore the rest of south Iceland. In the room there are some helpful utilities like a water cooker, toaster and coffee machine. There is also a possibility to use the fridge and microwave. The hostess is very kind and helpful

Such warm and welcoming hosts; Kosy Vik is a quality, family-run business with heart. Room comfortable and clean, great shower. Shared fridge and microwave very useful - not to mention the host's very kind offer of an egg boiler! Strongly recommend.

Hrund our hostess is so welcoming and friendly. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit locally. She added a personal touch of a welcoming drink and home baked treats. She was very kind.

The bathroom is a little cold otherwise we were very comfortable.

Our stay at Kósy Vík was great ! Hrund is a superfriendly and helpful Host. The check-in/check-out is very smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. Another big plus was the Location so we had an easy walking distance to the City and the Beach. Highly recommend!
