I have stayed at this property before and loved it. That is why I returned. John, the host, has gone out of his way to make sure everything you need is found on the property. You are literally staying at his second home, so it is very inviting and comfortable. The view is to die for. It isn’t very easy to reach in that you have to park down at a free public parking area below this medieval town and walk and/or take outdoor elevators up to the apartment. However, that is part of the charm of staying in a walled, medieval town in the mountains. I actually find it challenging to find as many different passageways weaving through the tiny streets and homes leading down to the parking lot. There is a garden area with a separate outdoor kitchen situated below the apartment. I have never used it, but maybe on our next stay.

The only disappointment was we didn’t find it as clean as we did on our first stay. Maybe the cleaning lady had a bad day or as in the states it is hard to find good help. However, it wasn’t that bad, and it won’t keep me from returning.

Lovely older style apartment. Very spacious and well resourced. Gorgeous city and great location in the medieval centre. Fabulous terrace with panoramic views.

Outrageous place to stay. Spectacular view. Great house. Great kitchen, great terrace, great living room, great bedrooms, great bathrooms, everything just totally great!

John's apartment is spectacular: really spacious, very well equipped and offering stunning views of the surroundings from its terraces. It is located in the historical center of Narni, so you can visit all of Narni by foot. You'll have to park downhill, but there are lifts to take you up. We thoroughly enjoyed it as a place to relax and a base to discover the south of Umbria.
