Place was neat and cool. Ambience was excellent. Maintained cleanly. Breakfast was served well. Staff behavior was good. Room, bed, covers were neat and clean.

Location was quite interior. Difficult to find out the place. Wifi was little bit slow. Room was small.

The staff was very helpfull during check in/out providing things/request. No hassles.

Only one thing to complain about was A/C. They were not working properly and needed to be serviced. The room was not getting cooled for long time even at 22 degrees set temp.

French Haveli is located inside an extremely busy locality, in the old city of Ahmedabad. No taxis/autos can reach the place. One has to walk through the serpentine lanes for about 10 minutes to reach the place. The house is ancient alright, but not comfortable, size is too small, noone tells you that it has steep staircase to climb up to your rooms, for those with knee pain it is harrowing to climb up and the stairs are small as well. The only care taker, is over worked, food doesnt taste good, sometimes tea comes in pot and other times turn cold served in a cup by the time it reaches your room. The dining table can accomodate only few guests at a time, we have to wait for our turn or look for another place in the haveli to get our breakfast served.Sorry to say, you guys need to add value to your place if it is mentioned in Gujrat tourism as a heritage house.

Location was very interesting in the old city although very difficult to find.

Bed linen and towels were stained. I felt very uncomfortable with the state of the sheets. Breakfast could have been better although the masala tea was one of the best I had had.

The location was a bit inconvenient to get to but it wasn’t a big negative.

It was not convenient for late check-in. Not suggested for elderly. Even drinking water not provided. No proper invoice received after I check out.

Pricing was a little on the steep side for a place tucked to inside from the main road

Nothing that i can think of honestly. We cut short our 2days stay to one after paying for two!!! While they say their care takers come to fetch you from the main road, i was not lucky as they didn't even pickup my call.. Bansi can be helpful taking your luggage to your rooms! Don't try it yourself!!

1. The location is so bad that the pictures shown are totally misguiding 2. None of the doors (including bathroom doors) or windows shut properly which is not shown in any pictures. This leads to hearing noises from neighbourhood... 3. Staircase is so narrow that you always have a chance of falling down badly and hurting yourself. 4. Beds are hopelessly unstable that your sleep will be deeply affected.. 5. I honestly don't understand who gave all that great review of this property!! 6. If you value your money drop this search right here!!!

Beautiful property that is thoughtfully decorated, kind staff and owners, homemade breakfast with fresh juice.

Sheets and pillows were unclean. A lot of smokers and loitering men outside the property.

This place has very good vibe. It's very comfortable and homely.

Tucked away within a living historic neighbourhood, this meticulously restored and beautifully maintained haveli is absolutely delightful- overlooking a small square with a temple, in a serene, pleasant part of the world heritage city, it’s an unforgettable experience. Food is good, service excellent and the rooms with terraces very comfortable.
