The price was reasonable, and it’s a good resting spot in the middle of nowhere.
The Wi-Fi is only available in the reception area and not in the rooms. Another bad thing is after we arrived I almost got bitten by their big dog and all they could say was, no the dog is friendly and they were not worried about me.

A pleasant place to overnight, with lots of interesting historical stuff from the colonial period. We were lucky enough to arrive while the nearby (40km away) lily pan at Sandhof farm was in bloom, so we got a chance to see this world-famous sight the next morning. Staff were friendly and helpful, the small pool was very welcome after a long dusty day on the road, and the beer was very cold!
Dinner was a bit underwhelming and breakfast was expensive for what was on offer.

This place is beautiful with the historic hotel vibes. We had fun and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were helpful and took really good care of us. The rooms were clean and the food was really good. The dogs were friendly and good to be around.

On our way from Walvisbay to Luderitz.
Very, very expensive. It seemed like a wast of money. Will never ever visit this place again - even paying traffic fines is better than paying for this property.

I was so amazed by hotel stuff’s hospitality. Even though you had a trouble during your holiday they help you a lot to make you feel better.

A nice historic hotel with wonderful staff. Rooms are basic, but clean and what should be expected for this price.
We also enjoyed the pool and the hotel's friendly dogs.

A good one stop shop from Luderitz to the North. A clean great value for money hotel with a long history. One of the oldest in Namibia I believe. Lots of historical artifacts there. Food was good.Not a lot in Maltahöe to do but for a weary driver a good place to rest.

Easy to locate in Maltahöhe, view over the countryside outside town, clean and very friendly staff.
The bar is decorated with flags whereby there are several old-fashioned ones for Imperial Germany and Apartheid South Africa. I am not pleased to have them displayed, looks like the owners are proud of this dubious history. It would be better if there was no such "in-your-face" display of what is painful to some of us.

Hotel full of history with a small museum. Most convenient if visiting lilies fields.

Good place for an overnight sleep. It is a basic hotel, don't expect much.
The beds are very soft and the area is a bit noisy in the mornings.
