Employee training could be improved because some staff seems not so familiared with the hotel facility and activities.

Good location, good room and friendly and helpful staff. The security guys were also friendly and helpful.

Despite the hotel being huge while booking I was told that I couldn’t use my credit card for a deposit and I’d have to pay fully in advance. This is nonsense and I suspect is done to avoid cancellations because you can still pay additional charges on a card but it is a way of the hotel having payment in full in advance. When we reached the resort and got to the check in counter the receptionist very quickly started to reel off what we weren't allowed to do. "No cooking allowed in the rooms, no hot food is allowed to be brought into the rooms" etc. I personally found presuming the worst from your guests and listing what wasn't allowed wasn't the most welcoming way to greet guests. Maybe this is the best time to explain the rules to the Koreans and Chinese who make up the majority of guests, but it comes over as rude to westerners. The way to do it would be at the end of the friendly meet and greet as a "By the way, just to inform you that hot food from outside isn't allowed in the room". I was also not informed of the free contents in the fridge until I checked out.

We arrived to the resort around 10:00 pm. As we have our two kids with us, our booked room was confirmed for a queen and a twin beds. the attending untrained reception staff offered us only a king size bed and they insist that this we have booked!!! Although, I show them my booking, they unfortunately insisted on their false opinion. They instead told me that “booking.com is usually misleading in their reservations”. Sheena told me in a very rude way; “In order to get your booked room, you must pay p14000 extra for your 9 year old child”. I have no choice as the room is already totally paid and being at the middle of the night, except to accept the pressure and pay what they asked for. On checking out they asked more payment of p5000 for my other 5 year old child as well. I am very disappointed. I will not recommend this resort to relatives or friends on the near or far future.

Buffet Breakfast was exceptional with a wide range of cuisine for everyones taste buds and staff where excellent in this area. Suite Rooms where comfortable and staff eager to help with any problem.

Tour Company directly contracted by Hotel where skimming and scammed us twice, Hotel mildly addressed it and tried to write it off as a miss understanding lol , the fact that driver took us to his mates zoo and pocketed all of the extra entry fees and money instead of taking us to Tarzia , snake and butterfly Environmental habitat centres was disappointing then on the island Hopping adventure that was supposed to be a full day rather than 4.5 hrs, not having any functional snorkelling equipment without rat holes in it or fins was sad oh and bypassing completely one of the islands out of 3. No accountability and it would appear you have to be on to it all the time because if you Arnt corners will be cut as will your experience ..

I love the breakfast buffet. My family enjoyed it too. It was just too crowded but the food is delicious.

I wish the space is a little bigger so it is not too crowded.

Fantastic location. Great menu At restaurants & buffet. Room service hours could run later past 10pm as people are on tours during the day.

I’ve previously stayed at the same resort/same location. The customer service isn’t what it use to be. No urgency to attend to customers.

Henan Resort is our go-to hotel when we visit the Philippines. Despite having our own house in Dauis, 20 minutes away, we'll always stay 2 nights or so at the Henan. Wonderful staff, stunning beaches, topaz seas, delicious food, and amazing rooms. It is top-notch and because of that we have been a customer for some 10+ years.

One small gripe is that the breakfast buffer has deteriorated compared to our first stays with them. And that is one tiny gripe. It's still a very tasty buffet, just not as good as it was.

The facilities are well designed, large pool areas and bars. Close to the beach as well.

Check in was a little busy but still ok.

Clean,comfortable hotel with exceptionally good staff. Lots of pools . Right on the beach. Drinks are fairly priced. My only gripe is the volume and type of music they played over the speakers outside. Not relaxing.
