The hotel is in the historic centre of the city. Very easy access to tram, city centre. You can't hear neighbours. Breakfast choices weren't very wide but I think it is enough. We even got coffee in the middle of the day.

I had room on street side. There are bars on that street and you hear joy of others very good, even in the third floor. Take room on other side if you have problems with sleeping in noisy context.

I was very delayed in arrival. On contacting hotel they gave me the access code to the front door and left my room key on reception for me which was very helpful

original style with some thought put into the decor; thoughtful staff because they provided a fan in response to the heatwave.

they said they had AC but then when you get there they say it is broken since may no fixing. front desk not 24/7 which is fine but they CHANGED THE CODE without letting me know resulting in me being locked out for over 30 min at 5am as I was returning from a wedding. i was lucky a friend who was in another room heard me yelling and told me the new code. ABSURD!!

I did not like anything about this stay.

Absolutely horrible. First and last use of booking. Room stank of raw sewage. Flickering neon sign outside and lots of noise, had a bad nights sleep.

Great priced hotel in an amazing location. clean, comfortable with quirky modern decor. it’s just off the main square, which has an underground car park, so very easy to get to by car. the hotel is close to great restaurants and bars - including an affordable Michelin rated restaurant three doors away. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. breakfast was nice, plentiful and great value. we will definitely stay here again.

For Value for money this can’t be beaten. Spacious, clean , comfortable room. Staff where lovely. Breakfast was the usual pastries, cheese etc all great and much cheaper than comparable hotels The location could not be better. 50 metres from the main square, which has a car park under it. The rooms are a little tired and in need of renovations BUT, because of that, the hotel is so cheap it’s nuts. My advise - stay here and use the money you save by eating at “the bistro next door” , thats it’s name not location, it’s actually 3 doors away. Will definitely stay again

The location was great.

When we arrived and after paying the full price for the room, the receptionist told us that the triple room, we had booked 2 weeks prior to our arrival, was unfortunately given to somebody else. He told us that only one double room was still available and that he will bring us a supplementary bed. The "bed" was a dirty mattress thrown on the floor with a blanket and a pillow. After telling him that was unacceptable we managed to have some clean sheets to put on the "bed". We would have expected some compensation for the inconvenience, but we got none. And, no, your deepest apologies did not count. Anyway, the room was relatively clean except the dust left on some surfaces and the walls that need some repainting. The bed wasn't too comfortable, but it was bordeline passable. The pillow was on the terrible side and I was better without it. The shower was really cramped, but, hey, we had hot water. The receptionist was friendly and helpful enough, but I have some doubts about his competence. All in all, I'll avoid this hotel at all cost the next time I'm in Clermont-Ferrand.
