The beach! For the people that love the beach it was not good. The water is mixed with the river near to the hotel. The photo that appear in the web is not the beach of the hotel. It’s unfair for the customers.

Very good WiFi coverage. Clean and spacious room . Variety of food and drinks. Friendly personnel.

1. They didn't respond to messages on Booking.com . The PR Manager / Communication Manager should revise this internal policy, if there is such policy in place. People need advice and guidance. I wrote to them 4 messages. They never replied ( I wonder if they will respond to this review). 2. Online payment was done through a link sent by their third party that never sent the bill voucher back. They only acknowledged the payment received. And the Receptionist was not able to give me a payment extrass, saying that I should write to the Company who handled the online payment. 3.Airport Transfer, it's a problem if you land at La Isabela Santo Domingo Airport. They don't have this service on their Transfer page. So, you have to manage by yourself your way to the Resort. 4. Although the bedsheets were changed everyday, they looked outdated and shabby . They need to recycle it more often.

property is gorgeous. everything you may need is all on the property, staff was excellent, service was excellent. we had one hick up with our room and they sort it out really fast. other than that everything else was excellent

mildue smell in room was not pleasant. gave me headaches but they changed us to a different room and that room was better

it was very hard to arrived at the hotel because there weren’t enough signs guiding the way after the main entrance

Most of the staff really try to accommodate your needs as best possible. The food is seriously delicious, and the drinks are not bottom shelf like alot of other resorts (not top self unless requested at an additional cost, but mid level liquor is standard) The premium meals are a treat, both the steak and lobster choices are some of the best you can get. You immediately see the value asoon as you arrive on the beautifully kept grounds

Reservation for A la Carte restaurants can get a bit messy due to lack of communication between reception (front desk), the actual restaurant and me the guest. The pants restriction for the a la Carte restaurants is a joke, especially if you will let someone in with athletic joggers/ sweat pants but not a formal shorts outfit. I appreciate the servers at the restaurant accommodating me and picking up the slack that the front desk left. I also had a tough time getting the discounts I was entitled to as a silver member of there loyalty program. It took way more then little effort to make sure i got all the perks I earned 4 different people and several calls to corporate and i was finally rewarded with getting what was promised

Sea is like a lake and we were but by flies. i booked an ocean view room, does not exist on this property. 2nd room had broken air conditioning. very mediocre drinks and food. Dominican music going constantly at pool, not relaxing. checked out 3 days early still no reimbursement and rebooked w/ Booking in Punta Cana. still no resolution.
