Hendrick is an awesome host. He picked me up from the airport and brought to the Noord district on the next day (thanks again!). He also provided me with a lot of interesting information about the Island. The apartment itself is a very good option if you need a place to stay before or after your flight, at a reasonable price. It is clean, comfy and has good AC and wifi. Hendrick's dogs in the yard are superfriendly. Oranjestad downtown is a bit far, but still at a walking distance (approx. 30 min) and the walk is through a safe area.

There is no space to sit outside, in front of the appartment.

The host was very helpful in pickup from airport and the stay was also very comfortable. Overall great experience even though it was only one night.

Hendrik was by and far the most gracious host you could ask for. He was Johnny-on-spot for any problem. I certainly cannot recommend him high enough. The apartment was comfortable and the cooking facilities quite adequate.

There is not hot water per say. That again is not the fault of the owner, it’s just the way things are there. The only other complaint is the number of stray dogs in the area. Again not Hendrik’s fault. I would recommend renting a car rather than walking to the bus station.
