Lovely location and cottages very pretty and tastefully decorated.

Stunning cottages in beautiful surroundings. 8 of us booked both cottages for our Dads 80th birthday and we couldn't of picked a better place . Everything you need for a getaway for family time . Close to Buxton centre , 5 min drive, 20min walk.
Thankyou for a fabulous stay we will all treasure.

Really clean, homey feeling, beautiful koi in the pond.
Clear instruction manual in case you get stuck with anything, abrupt response time if contacted.
Comfortable mattresses and bed.
Very peaceful place and a riding school is just next to it so plenty of horses around. You can see pigs and chicken too, really exciting for the kids.
Nice view and pretty walks nearby.

Lovely cottage in a brilliant location, very quiet on a farm but only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Buxton. Beautiful walks nearby.

Very comfortable 2 bed cottage close to town centre, but surrounded by fields with horses. All necessary items provided in the cottage , comfy beds, pleasant decor . Netflix and iPlayer provided . 5 minutes by car into the centre, very convenient for the opera festival.
Wonderful outings onto the Peaks from here too
Just be aware that the access road is very bumpy, more of a farm access ( leading to a massive riding centre, cottages at the back). But managed with our Skoda Fabia.

Cottage was very neat and we had all we needed. Beds were cosy and bathroom was clean. Staff was helpful, helped to give us some guidance when we were stuck. Living room was clean and cosy, we had access to the Internet and we could watch prime, netflix and youtube. We will definitely visit again. It felt like home away from home.
My kids were scared of the bug flying around one night, but it was to be expected considering the location and environment.

What a wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous 2 bedroom cottages on a rural property minutes from the village. Lots of thought has gone into making these cottages a real home away from home. Hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful.
Nothing. Even the noise and smell from the stables right next to the cottage was fine by me.

Absolutely fab place for exploring west side of the park District and or Buxton, cottages spotless, owners and folks around ++friendly, super dog friendly and if you haven't got a dog there's plenty about to love 😀

Wonderful and well equipped cottage, quiet in the night, very nice and helpful owners! Town in walking distance, many interesting places nearby, one hour to Manchester by train. Perfect!

Warm and cosy cottage. Great location and very peaceful. Loved the decor.
Part of lane to the property was not cleared of snow and ice but managed to access cottage with not too much slipping. Hot water temperature not constant enough to run a bath. Uncomfortable pillows

Cottage was cosy and comfortable. Great location for walking to Buxton and driving to walks, attractions etc most of which were within half an hour's drive. Lovely to see the horses and stable dogs were very friendly. Owners on hand if needed.
Nothing, even the weather was warmer than expected! A little noise from stable block at night but virtually silent and dark other than that - no road noise despite being so close to town.
