John, the manager was amazing. he called me and ran through everything prior to my stay and addressed some issues I found reading existing reviews. however he definitely explained to me that this is NOT a Hilton hotel and it is mainly for large groups and might be a little banged up. But to be fair, for a large family all we needed was a clean common area, beds and a fully functioning kitchen. and it provided all of that for our stay!

The location

Everything else. This property is in complete disrepair. It hasn't been maintained nor properly cleaned when we arrived. The floor is not properly vaccumed, there's animal hair everywhere. There are several health and safety issues. With a microwave that is not working, broken cupboard doors hanging. If a toddler opened the cupboard their toes would have gotten broken or seriously injured. The whole downstairs reeked of urine. Hence a room downstairs was unusable. We had to keep it closed so we could use the other room on that floor. The group who arrived with me had to share beds because one of the rooms we paid for was not usable. We have paid $1450 PER DAY for this property (total of $4350+). This is price gouging from unsuspecting customers.  Absolutely disgraceful!! I have sent a formal complaint to the owner via email but not a single reply was provided nor any refund offered for charging us for a 5 bedroom home that looks decent in pictures but providing us with a dirty, run down home where only 4 bedrooms were usable. This property should be blacklisted from booking.com.

The location and the fact that it accommodated so many people.

The proprietor called a few times prior to stay regarding shortage and expense of cleaners and was trying to have us check in after 3pm. TV/DVD didn’t work. Proprietor called in to fix it to no avail then left 2 DVD players for us to try. Billard table was missing a couple of balls. Property was advertised with toiletries, only ensuite had shampoo and conditioner. Stains on bed linen.

parking was terrible - for a house that sleeps 15 people parking was terrible . the floors were very dirty , really need a good vaccumm and mop the TV really needs an upgrade - not acceptable at all WIFI is a must these days Kitchen utensils were limited , no garbage bags provided at all , plates provided do not fit in the dishwasher. Towels could be provided by host
