Fantastic location, clean ground floor apartment with friendly neighbours.

Host told us off for not going to them to pay our 300 euro cash deposit. Shower was not draining properly, host promised some drain unblocker that never materialised. Was obvious that shower hadn't been draining since before our arrival as dirt residue remained in shower tray

This is the second time we have stayed at the Orfeo Azul and on each occasion have been very pleased with it. The location and amenities are very close to hand with bars,restaurants ,supermarkets and bus stops right on the doorstop.

The only thing I can say in a slight negative is that the spinner on the washing machine wasn't working properly so we were unable to wash our clothes properly. However we did tell Debbie form Riviera estate and she offered to get it seen to as soon as possible,but as we were going home within the next few days I said it didn't matter,but hopefully she will have sorted it for the next occupant.

spacious apartment (apart from the rooms which are very small), good location (if you want to be close to the sea)but not if you have mobile restrictions (as I do) if you need to get to the office or the other cafes/bars/restaurants on the main strip as there are a lot of steps to get to that road.

Firstly, the pool provided which seemed a nice added bonus was freezing cold, no sun loungers or chairs available too to accompany it which isn’t ideal. the rooms are extremely small, not ideal if you’re sharing a room as we did. Very importantly the lady who was in charge of booking us in was unfriendly, lacked customer service skills and empathy too. We booked as a group of 6 adult men, (very good, sensible men I’d like ago add) all professionals and who have all travelled together for years with never any problems or repercussions. I strongly feel she was prejudiced about men sharing an apartment and this clearly showed in her negative and unpleasant behaviour towards us. On the day/time of departure when inspecting the property and deciding whether she returned our very big £300 deposit, she came back after a good 25 min inspection, obviously scrutinising this in a over keen and very zealous fashion. she then came to me and my friend (only 2 of us at this stage)as 4 of the 6 of us returned earlier the day before on earlier flights back. she decided this to take off €50 off our deposit, her reasons were ‘a door had been left open’ overnight once, which I can only understand as being a risk to ‘our own belongings’ if this was the case, and the other reason was the sheets were dirty(clearly they would be after 5 days and no maid service) even the towels were not replaced in 5 days, this arisen from a large coffee stain, which might I add would clearly come out of a wash, but she concluded very unfairly and inaccurately ‘the place was untidy’ and she would be taking off €50 off our deposit. this was clearly unfair, unjustified, and we strongly felt she was looking for trouble, clearly prejudiced against a small group of good sensible men, and massively lacked customer service and empathy skills, which I believe I believe is important. especially when trying to enjoy a holiday, which was lightly spoiled . I’ve been a booking.

Perfect location for me, lovely bright, clean apartment. Very quiet most of the time.

the neighbour underneath the apartment was not very nice at all - complained about us making excessive noise (2 older women who definitely did not) and was abusive and horrible

Amazing general experience, everyone was very friendly (Debbie, Ibrahim, the neighbours we met...). Out of all the places we've been this is probably one of the best ones.

The other properties had in their balconies an extra net between the rails that made it look safer (especially if you go with a child)

We had nowhere to store our luggage we checked out at 11 and flight was at 9pm . I asked if they could keep it but they couldn't.
