My room was really on the beach front only 5 meters and I could swim and see the sunset from my bed in room . The staff was very friendly and they make great cocktails

They most give a bit more information how they clean the room but overall it was a great stay

The bungalow was located right on the beach... what a stunning view! Sitting, reading and even working on the porch or in the restaurant was relaxing. I was able to check in a bit early, and I was offered to be driven to the pier upon departure for a cheaper price than a taxi ride, which was convenient, and I really appreciated it. Everyone was friendly and helpful, although discreet. The bungalow itself was very basic with the minimum furniture, the bathroom was small but clean and redone. There were indeed some insects as mentioned in other comments - a mosquito net would have been nice, but fortunately I had my own. I knew what I was booking so nothing came as a surprise, and this was the kind of experience I was looking for. It was nice getting back to what matters: simplicity! I liked the pad thai and scrambled eggs, and could easily walk to a few nice cafes and thai restaurants around. There is a nice lady selling fresh fruits not far away.

WiFi was not very stable and did not always work properly from the bungalow, which was my main issue as I needed to work. But I was able to do so in the restaurant when needed. The property was not super well taken care of, as there was some rubbish a bit everywhere. However, this may have been related to the weather, as there were strong winds all through my stay and maybe also to some tourists not being super clean! ;-)

food wasn’t too bad and reasonably priced since you are not close to anything.

It was VERY dirty, ants were all over our room when we checked in and just got worse throughout the stay. the entire property needs renovations.. bathroom by the bar looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months.

SCAM! The owner of this place is a scammer! We rented a bike from him as we always feel it's better to rent through the hotel you're staying at. With the location of the hotel, without a scooter you would very much struggle to get around for food as there are no shops or eateries within walking distance. Anyway, we rented a scooter for two days and the owner held one of our passports as a deposit. We took good care of it and did not crash, nor scrape against anything. When we returned the scooter the owoner accused us of being responsible of a 1cm scratch that was there previously. He wouldn't give us our passport until we paid him money. On a made up price sheet he presented (which was not shown at the time of hire) he demanded we pay 4,500 Bhat for this tiny scrath we did not make. After around a 2 hour discussion we finally paid 700 Bhat, not as an admissiom of guilt but just to purely get the passport back. As for the room, the room was basic but was relatively comfortable. However, the bathroom was a little grotty and there were many ants and goodness knows what other little creepy crawlies roaming around. There were also some small insects in the bed too. Could've been bed bugs. I don't know. The restaurant area, whilst nice, stopped serving food at 6pm, meaning it was eat early or head 5km out to get food.
