Nothing bad to say, but had a leaking shower.

1. If you travel to Porto, have a short trip to Espinho and enjoy the large beautiful beach with marvellous sunsets! 2. The accommodation is next to the terrific beach and managed by the very friendly staff of the directly beside restaurant "Zagalo", which offers an excellent and extraordinary breakfast (remarkable in Southern Europe) and seems to be a great choice for dinner in the evening.

The location is ideal. 5 minute walk to the train station. Breakfast was a very high quality and one of the best I've had in a hotel, plenty of choice and this will make me book again at guest house a z if I return to espinho. You are right on the ocean front and the balcony from the room faced the ocean also. Very quiet at night. Large walk in shower. Daily room service. Bicycle hire. I highly recommend Guest House A Z. Mini bar and money safe also in the room. There is a black out blind this works well to block out the heat of the sun and its electric.

Not really a complaint but the bar that is 5 buildings down played music till after midnight on Saturday night, so keep that in mind if you want to get a early night Saturdays. I can't say either way if they do this every Saturday.

Location and cleanliness

Internet was so weak (only one bar). Couldn’t watch TV at night as images were so heavily pixelated with frequent freezing. Kitchen had zero accessories—no silverware, no plates or cups. No pans to reheat food, making the stove and microwave essentially useless, as there was no way to eat or drink leftovers. Please stock the kitchen to make it usable!

Breakfast was amazing. Service and employees were kind, lovely, and welcoming. There were so many choices and excellent food. The patio overlooking the ocean was a treat. Gorgeous views.

The pillow - just one - was cheap and not comfortable. The bed linens and towels need to be upgraded.

This is a lovely Guest House, located right on the sea-front, with a great view from our room. The room itself was immaculate and cleaned daily. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good choice at breakfast too!.

The room was clean and well designed. The breakfast was awesome and well managed. The location is perfect. I also suggest the restaurant managed by the guest hose owners!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The view was amazing and the room was perfect. We will definitely return if we come back to Espinho.

Nothing to report, everything was great!

The room was excellent for the price. It was clean, smart, up to date decor. Good ensuite . We had use of the kitchen. Everything was small but smart. Walk out of apartment and onto beach.

All was good. No complaints.

The property was immaculate. The staff very helpful. A really enjoyable stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Very good location. I checked out two nights earlier and they refunded me for a night which they didn't have to do.

I thought the breakfast buffet could have been slightly better.
