Great Location and the best equipped holiday rental we’ve ever stayed at. Even had squeaky toys in the garden for the dog !
It is quite dark but that is the style of the house. The tiles coming in from
outside we’re a bit slippery.

The house was super cute and unique. Great location. Had a great time with the family.
We were given the wrong access code for the keys so had to call for the correct one but they answered right away.
The upstairs hallway light was out so a bit dark.

Pros: cute cabin - better inside than the photos! - with absolutely everything you could possibly need and fully stocked kitchen (including spice rack, paper towels, cooking oils, tomato sauce, etc). Walking distance to beach, shops, supermarket, bottle-o, playground. Walk to the Catalina Country Club. Fully enclosed backyard and very pet friendly. Neighbours were all fine and no noise.
Cons: both main bedrooms (upstairs) have only half walls so almost NO privacy for people sleeping in those rooms. They are open to each other and the rest of the house. Zero chance of adults/parents having any private time, or even a private conversation away from kids, as all sounds reverberate off the pine ceiling - everyone can hear every sound upstairs and down in all rooms very clearly. This wasn't disclosed in the listing and felt really disappointing as we booked for a week holiday and as parents we need a break, too.
Also, no upstairs bathrooms or plumbing means a long trek to the loo in the middle of the night.
Overall, this didn't work for our family and would be best suited to one couple, or parents of younger children who could utilise the bunk bed room downstairs.

The bedrooms upstairs but the toilet is downstairs, very uncomfortable for family.
The house is dark and the garbage bins were full when we arrived and stayed full for 3 days.

Externally the property is ordinary but inside it has been substantially renovated. The internal configuration may not suit some people.

Spacious unit that could accommodate two families with kids. The undercover balcony upstairs was filled with light and a nice spot to relax. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire place (but you need to bring the wood logs). A bonus for the kids was that the property had many games, books, DVDs and Netflix for them to use, as well as free WIFI. Good location, few minutes walk to the shops, beach and nice kids playground.

The property was sensational, everything that we needed (except for towels and sheets) were there. The facilities were fantastic, close to all facilities and shops.
If I could rate it more than 10/10 I would!

Great location, walking distance to shops and cafes, short drive into Batemans Bay and lots of beaches to choose from. House was very well equipped and comfortable and great value. Everything provided for preparing meals, even a barbecue and outdoor area. Just had to bring own towels and sheets and personal items. Food shopping 5 minutes walk, IGA, butcher, bakery, newsagent, chemist, even a medical centre.

House, location and area were exceptional. Owners have taken pride in their property. Has great heating/cooling, but if you want a fire there is a Fireplace that is fantastic, with service station near by that sells cheap bags of wood. Local Shops 100 meters away and beach an extra 50 meters. Thank you for letting us stay.

Lovely upstairs sun room and some great titles, if only I had had time to read!
Secure garden for dog!
Upstairs bedrooms were not fully enclosed so any noise from downstairs made it difficult to get kids to sleep upstairs.
Stairs slippery and steep for little kids, and NOT suitable for dogs. I took a baby gate for the dog, thank goodness.
Even though there were too queen beds upstairs it would not be suitable for two couples because of the lack of privacy.
Only bathroom downstairs was difficult to toilet little ones during the night.

This place is pet friendly which is why were draw to it. Perfectly located and easy walking distance to the beach, local shops, restaurants and cafes. Has good free wi-fi but no smart TV to watch Netflix or the like on. Plenty of games, books and DVD's if you are interested.
Look, its someone's house so don't get too carried away with your expectations. Its a little dark inside, has lots of stairs leading up to the loft style open bedrooms and sun room, and some of the amenities are a little old. The carpet has seen way better days. It wasn't particularly clean either, there were used tea towels left in the sink, the kitchen bench hadn't been wiped down prior to our arrival, and the place smelt smoky from the ashes left in the fireplace. The beds were okay, but bring your own pillows as the ones in the bed we slept on were stained and need replacing. There is also a water leak in the bathroom coming from behind the wall next to the shower.

We loved the place it was so great for us and our dog. Great location and the hosts were so fantastic with contacting us. We have recommended all our mates and can’t wait to come back. Accidentally forgot to write in the guestbook!!! But can’t recommend this place enough :)
