Breakfast was lovely and a good choice. Evening meal was also superb. A good spot for seeing North Norfolk. Room was very comfortable, we had a small double and there wasn't a lot of room but it had everything we wanted and was fine for a long weekend.

Although the evening menu was lovely, and the extras were appreciated it would have been nice to have a more basic menu as well. We probably would have had more than one evening meal if there was. Can't eat a la carte every night!!!

The location is ideal - just a few minutes' walk from the town centre. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the room was comfortable (but see below).

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which is fast becoming a necessity for summer hotel bookings. On request we were provided with a fan, which did help somewhat.

Lovely hotel, the owner Hugh and staff were most welcoming, the food was good, breakfasts exceptional both in quality and taste.

Our room was a bit small, but adequate. We didn't mind too much as it was a cheaper deal on line. There are some beautiful rooms there.

I booked the room with jacuzzi and sauna. I was with my partner. We both loved everything about this place. Management and staff was outstanding. Room, food, surrounded was absolutely beautiful.

The bed was too soft and the pillars.

The staff was very helpful the breakfast is lovely and hotel great place to stay.

The receptionist and manager were very accomodating even when I arrive before my check-in time. It was also great to see so many guests really happy to be visiting, eating and staying within your hotel and actually made me personally feel exactly the same.

All the food was excellent .staff unfailingly efficient friendly and helpful.

The room could have been a bit warmer.

When we first arrived, the owner met us at the door, and took our bags up to our room, while we checked in with the lady in the front desk. Once the paperwork was completed, the young lady showed us round the hotel, and took us up to our room! Excellent professional and lovely check in.

If I had to be particularly picky, the room was a bit hot.

We ate in the restaurant where the food was excellent. The staff throughout our 1 night stay were very attentive, polite and efficient from check in to check out. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

very well kept lovely character

Lovely art deco lounge and first class service with those little extra touches I'd long forgotten about, A vegetarian, I had the most wonderful, freshly cooked risotto ever with exquisite artesan bread and sun dried tomato butter. The restaurant was busy but we were not rushed, it's clear the chef has a wonderful reputation. Chintzy bedroom with en suite and tea making facilities. Wonderful value for money, would go again and thoroughly recommend.
