The property was well maintained and managed. The room was clean and comfortable. The location to Sintra and other attractions was excellent. The daily breakfast had excellent quality and quantity of food. Delicious!

The best place to live in Cascais! I like ocean, sun, incredible nature and good living conditions. The villa is quiet, comfortable and peaceful, it's possible to have a rest in the cozy living room or in the patio, to swim in the pool (the water didn't seem to me too cold even in winter). Very hospitable host and delicious breakfasts👍

Very nice villa, perfect room and friendly owner

The villa is located in a quiet area, not far from the villa there is a walking area with cafes and restaurants. Clean and comfortable room, fresh and delicious breakfast. The owner is very responsive. I recommend this option for family travellers as well as solo travelers.

The rooms were clean on arrival. The area was in a very upmarket area surrounded by exquisite villas The pool was clean and inviting A good selection of cold breakfast choices. Security is good There is a butcher and a Lidl 10 minutes away and a few bars here and there. There is a shared fridge in the kitchen area.

The shutter which is needed to exit the downstairs bedroom to the pool and to keep the light out overnight as there are no curtains was temperamental and stopped working. The door to the balcony on the first floor bedroom was impossible to close. The villa has 4 bedrooms for travellers. The rooms are not sound proofed. A family with a 9 month old baby woke up moaning every morning at 5 am until breakfast. Breakfast starts at 8 am and finishes at 10 am promptly , there is no one around to ask questions or help with the coffee machine. You rely on other travellers. There is no cooked breakfast. The owner is on site and comes and goes within the property. The owner does not speak any English. I would have liked to ask if we could use the BBQ outside , another guest told us we could cook an evening meal but we did not know if this was permitted and to use the kitchen utensils , pots and pans ? There are cameras placed around the villa such as in front of the TV in the main lounge and the eating area outside which is a little unnerving giving a feeling of being watched, but this could be simply a security need. The main centre of Cascais is a good 40 minutes walk away, the main area to meet up with friends and families and not a 1.1 mile away as advertised. There is no fridge or kettle in the room. A tea or coffee after 10 am from the kitchen area is charged. The beds are not made or changed during your stay I was cold overnight and took a duvet from the wardrobe which I tried to explain to the owner. The duvet had no cover and no cover was ever put on. .

The accomodation is clean and comfortable 8 minutes by taxi from train station in Cascais. Communicaion with the host was crystal clear, breakfast was very good

In the Torre neighbourhood, walking distance from Guia area but bit far from town

Alexander was very hospitable, he gave us tonnas of advices where to go, how is better to get to the place we needed etc, also, he took us to the supermarket for buying some food. Our room was cleaned well and the breakfast was delicious and acceptable for vegetarians/vegans

House was amazing with very comfortable bed and a big bathroom with a tub. The grounds are beautiful and the balcony is nice to have some fresh air. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was very good. It’s a bit away from the center, but easily accessible by bus or walking for about 30 minutes.

The stay at Villa dos Teixos was perfect. The position is very good, in some minutes by car you can reach the center of Cascais and the beach. The owner Aleksander was very kind and ready to help. Room and bathroom spacious, clean and well equipped (the shower had lights and music!) . Parking easy on the street just in front of entrance. Breakfast very good with several products.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Even gave to us a map and some tips for places to visit in the city. The breakfast was nice, with some local delights and fruits.

Unfortunately the single beds in our double room could not be arranged in a double bed.
