Nice, comfortable room in the centre of Stykkisholmur, right by the harbour and restaurants. The room was small but it was the cheapest place we stayed in Iceland and good value for money.

It was a little bit odd that the hotel is half church, given that this isn't mentioned in the description at all! It gives it a slightly strange vibe.

Es un hotel con habitaciones que tienen vistas al mar, las habitaciones son cómodas amplias, limpias y decoradas con buen gusto. El personal es atento y amable. Desayuno buffet de gran calidad y variedad. Excelente relación calidad precio. Totalmente recomendable.

The room was a lot bigger than anticipated, and it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Nice recommendations from the hotel too, as well as a coffee machine and complimentary chocolate in room. Had some quirky features too - like the lift - but that comes with the territory of being a renovated hospital.

The bathroom was a bit clinical, and the breakfast wasn’t that great, but it was still nice to have breakfast included.

Het hotel ziet er van buiten niet heel sfeervol uit, maar de kamers zijn echt dik in orde en superschoon. Fijne bedden en douche. Ontbijt was uitgebreid. De dame bij de receptie was ontzettend vriendelijk.

Als ik iets moet noemen: bij het ontbijt leek het alsof we bij een uitvaart terecht waren gekomen. Op tv liep een soort presentatie met bloemen en er werd stemmige muziek gedraaid. Mag echt wat vrolijker!

Breakfast is good

WOW!! The beds were SOOOO comfortable, the pillows were amazing, the windows opened wide enough to bring cool air, TV had good options, located within minutes walking distance of everything, and the breakfast was AWESOME!! The whole place was perfect for our family, thank you!

This was our first stop in Iceland and we were overcoming jet lag. The room was great with a terrific view of the harbor and outlying bay and islands. The hotel had a great breakfast. We enjoyed traveling around the Snaefellnaes penninsula from this hotel and ultimately taking the ferry to the west fjords. The location was perfect and easy to walk from the hotel to surrounding restaurants.

Very clean room, breakfast was good too. Great location. Front desk was able to book us a table at a nearby restaurant, which was delicious.

Room was contemporary, attractive and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location was terrific - right on the water, close to the harbor and town.

Front desk was not consistently manned which was inconvenient as we had a medical issue and had to leave early. Cleaning staff did try to fill the gaps. I am disappointed that when we had to abort our second night because of a medical emergency necessitating us flying home early, we were not refunded. The desk staff when present were friendly but I didnt think they had enough of a presence.

Comfortable, well appointed hotel in a quiet location overlooking the harbour. Very good breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff, including suggestions for restaurants for dinner.

Breakfast started at 8.00 which is a bite late for travellers who have a bit of driving to do.

super cozy! just like the pictures! the staff was amazing, very welcoming. Perfect location to spot the Aurora Borealis. I could see it from my window. Good breakfast as well. lovely and peaceful chapel.
