The location was amazing, at the village were most of the trails begin. Also there are not a lot of options to eat in the village but the hosts were available to serve food at their restaurant. Alba is a very friendly and honest host. My mother forgot her phone on the bedroom, and we just realised when Alba called us telling about it.

It was too hot when we wen (around 40ºC) and the air-conditioning wasn't functioning at lower temperatures

Extremely well located, with enough amenities to not have to go shopping outside the parc,- The accommodation was basic, but still quite cool even with outside temperatures in the range of 35 celsius. The hosts were hospitable.

Spacious, well equipped apartment in a very special place, right in the heart of Monfragüe National Park. Staff friendly, key collection and communication good. Very good stopping place for Vía Mozárabe por Trujillo walkers.

Needed another couple of nights to do more walks.

Very nice location in the middle of the park. Good restaurant around the corner. The casa has an own well equiped kitchen. For a supermarket you better stop in a city like Placentia.

Due to redecoration we were moved to a similar apartment (10a) in the village. The area is outstanding, particularly for those interested in wildlife, birds in particular. We stayed for 5 nights and visited Salto del Gitano several times, as well as numerous Miradors on the road heading east. Countless vultures plus eagles and rutting deer. The apartment is perfectly placed to explore Monfrague. A spacious second floor apartment with en-suite double bedroom, kitchen/living area, both air conditioned. The owners went out of their way to be helpful, even providing a new kettle (which the original apartment had but this one did not). Great hosts in an amazing area.

Nice and comfortable house in a peaceful village. The house is well equipped with everything necessary. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Breathtaking nature with hiking trails that start in the village.

We arrived two hours before the announced check-in time. This was no problem and we could already check-in. The house is located at the start of multiple hikings. The swimming pool is quite basic but so refreshing after a 5 hour hike! The owners are very kind. When they evening falls, the incredible Sky becoles clear.
