We have stayed at Eros room and it was an experience: you just open the window and you are litterally in the sea! We watched an amazing sunrise just from the window under the owner suggestion. The windows are soundproofed , once closed you don't hear anything: It's perfect for a relaxing hpliday Gaetano is really friendly and so helpful...he has also parked our car. If you want to have a great sea experience and meet the best Sicilian welcoming, you should choose this place 😊

We stayed only 1 night :( it was a heartbreak leaving the room!

The place is Amazing! Gaetano is an incredibly caring, available and nice host and you can feel his passion through the care, and attention to any detail. He is also available to give any kind of advice to visit the area, including recommended restaurants not only in Syracusa but also in the other main towns around (tested and confirmed some of them). The room is cozy, relaxing and very well furnished. The Location is amazing and the sea view for the rooms having it is stunning! The location is convenient for parking in the street (also in high season). A parking is also available in the building, but we found any difficulty to park in the street. 10 min walking distance to Ortigia, private beach access (and beach chairs provided!). The breakfast is offered in a cafe 5 @ min walking distance, which serves amazing typical sicilian breakfast. Definetely recommended.

We were not particularly happy about breakfast, but it was good enough and this is certainly also not what we expected to be like a 5 star.

The room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, with beautiful sea view. Private access to swim in the sea was a bonus. Breakfast arrangement at cafe 10 minutes' walk away was ideal, as it was open all day. Gaetano was an exceptional host, welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with providing local information and booking tickets / restaurants etc.

Most restaurants were 15+ minutes' walk away along a busy street, which people with mobility issues might find challenging and tiring. Our tip: ask Gaetano to book you a restaurant for your first evening, at least.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the property. It is within walking distance or short drive to Ortigia. having private and easy access to the sea was an added bonus for us. It made it very easy to go down to the water every day to cool off after the heat of the summer.

Parking is limited

The Eros room with sea view is simply amazing. The landlord was very nice and helpful.

Nothing really. There were a few mosquitoes, but a mosquito net in front of the windows would have spoiled the views. So, I did not mind too much. The breakfast at the local cafe (5 minutes from the B&B) was just ok.

Loved our stay, quiet & comfortable room with lovely decorations. The hosts Noemi & Gaetano were very kind, welcoming and helpful with places to visits and where to eat.

We were incredibly well looked after by wonderful staff. The room was fantastic too with an immediate view to the sea. We didn't stay long but would love to be back!

We were in a room with a view of the sea, which is super beautiful and extremely romantic. There is even a shower with a light that changes colour just like in a spa for great relaxation. The location is in walking distance to the centre of Ortigia and car parking is no problem. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful.

The owner was the best part. He takes you to heart like he knows you for ages. He spoke in English. He provided coffee and tea in the room. And when we go to the lobby he also prepares coffee for us. It is close to town. You can park for free. You can also swim by the hotel. Everything it’s superbly updated and the attention to details are 2nd to none. The AC works perfectly. It was the best that we have ever experienced.

The owner has thought of everything. There were even Beach seats available in the room. He even gave us an umbrella to use in the beach.

We loved everything about our stay : the room could not have been more perfect, the bed was very comfortable, the decoration was lovely, the view was spectacular, the breakfast was enormous and delicious. Above all Gaëtano and Noemie were so kind and helpful. They were extremelly dedicated making our stay as perfect as possible. I recommend MarLove to everyone and we will definitively come back !!! Nothing, everything was perfect

The room was comfortable and the view was spectacular! The owner, Gaetano, and Noemi were always very helpful and attended to all our needs. Due to the Covid-19 situation we weren't given breakfast in bed as indicated in the listing. Although we were disappointed that we weren't advised beforehand, we were given tokens to have breakfast in a nearby cafeteria called Bar Drago which had really good breakfast!

We have nothing to complain about the hotel. The only thing we didn't like was the neighborhood. The area is very dirty and it has a large amount of abandoned properties. On the otherhand, the area towards the Archeological Park of Neopolis, which is around 30 minutes walk from the hotel, is beautiful.

The unique position and desire of the owner Gaetano and his staff to offer and provide all we needed made this B&B accommodation a standout in our 7 weeks of travel in Italy. We endorse the positive reviews of other reviewers. We accept that bed comfort is subjective, but we found the bed and pillows to be the best we experienced - soft but zero sagging. We stayed 4 nights in a 'King Room with Sea View'. We arrived in sunny weather with waves lapping gently onto the rocks directly below our window. Two days later a bad weather front had transformed the sea - the waves frothed and smashed the rocks and watching the view from the comfort of the lounge chair in our room was sensational. We left our car parked safely on the premises and either walked or caught the local bus to various tourist destinations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marlove and would definitely recommend this B&B to our friends and family.

This hotel is amazing! They give breakfast in bed, delicious with fresh pastries and it gets changed a little bit everyday. They even give you a list of restaurants they recommend around the whole region! They waited for us when we arrived very late. We are usually quite picky with accommodations, but this one has fantastic service.
