We loved the house and the lake. The owner was vey accommodating and the property manager was very responsive and helpful. I will definitely stay there again on my my next visit to Lake Anna.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pura Vida. The house was amazing and looked just as pictured on the site. Everything that we could have asked for was there. The property has so many activities that we barely needed to leave the house. The area is beautiful and it was nice being right on the lake without a lot of steps to get to the water. Communication with the owner and proerty manager was timely and they were both very helpful. We will definitely recommend and look to book again.

We absolutely love this home. We have been coming for many years and each year is wonderful! The location on the lake is perfect. Our family enjoys cooking in the kitchen and having family meals at the large dining room table playing board games. The beds are comfortable and the sofa and chairs are great for relaxing to read a book or watch TV. Highly recommend staying here and looking forward to returning next year!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Pura Vida. It is beautifully appointed and very well equipped. The home is provides multiple areas in which to relax. We all enjoyed the water toys as well as the fire pit. The owners are easy to contact and respond quickly if there is a need. I would recommend this home.

Everything about our week at Pura Vida was awesome!! The house is perfect, great location on the lake, it had everything you would need! It was beautiful inside and out! The owners and property manager are so kind, and you can tell they take pride in the property. a big bonus for us being able to bring our boat and docking it under roof. We were on the water all week either on the boat or floating at the dock. The fishing is awesome! boating to restaurants was fun so was finding the sandbar and secret coves. We defiantly will be back we fell in love with the house and the lake!

We had an excellent stay at Pura Vida. The house was perfect for our group with plenty to do, easy access to a grocery store nearby, and the lake was very enjoyable.

Having rented VRBO properties all over the world, I would rate Pura Vida among the best. It definitely was one of the cleanest, well-appointed homes in which we have stayed. Three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed themselves, with both indoor and outdoor activities for all.

My family and I cannot get enough of Pura Vida. As soon as we walked in the door, it felt like home. The neighborhood was quiet, the property was clean and well maintained ..and the view... absolutely breathtaking. It had everything we needed and more. There was so much to do we felt we did not have enough time to experience it all and we hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the property was great. Our son requested a stay at the lake for his birthday with a few friends, they enjoyed swimming, fishing, and kayaking right from the property. The property is really relaxing, especially the screened in porch. Check-in was easy and the house had plenty of supplies to get the stay started. I would recommend this rental to anyone.

This is the ideal home for our family with 3 generations. We appreciate the covered boat slip, quiet cove, and location on the lake. Our family has been coming here for many years and our 3 year old grandson was excited to ride on the tube this year! We are already looking forward to next year!

We had a wonderful time at this property. House was clean and beds were very comfortable. We rented a boat and it fit nicely in the provided boat slip. We had plenty of space for our group of 7!

The house is fabulous. Lovely interior, very spacious, well equipped, beautiful views and beautiful outdoor areas…we were two couples and a fifth adult…ample privacy for all. Unfortunately the lake had a problem with hazardous algae bloom (HAB) which can cause skin irritation and gastrointestinal issues…we researched and according to the government website, the advisory was not to swim due to the elevated levels of bacteria and algae bloom. This is a wonderful five star property but if you plan to swim or boat in late summer, it’s advisable to check this out in advance.

Highly recommend. Everything about Jocelyn’s house is amazing. It is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The entire process was easy and she was very communicative. We had 6 adults and 4 infants and did not feel crowded at all. We would absolutely return to this beautiful spot on Lake Anna!

This home is absolutely stunning!! So much room to spread out inside and out. So nice to be right on the lake, no crazy hills to go up or down. The home is clean and very well stocked (ice is the only thing we needed more of) My family hung outside all day playing putt putt, fishing, swimming, kayaking.. All from the backyard. We also enjoyed chilling with a drink in one of the many outdoor spaces that has a beautiful view and plenty of seating. Inside we enjoyed family board games together, ping pong, and fusball (downstairs). My favorite space was the living room with the wall of windows facing the lake.... So beautiful. My family stayed at this home for a vacation and a family celebration. We had an excellent time. The home was beautiful, clean, spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the water view and water access. Our family rented a boat and we were welcome to use their boat slip. It was convenient to the public side of the lake and made it easy to hop for a boat ride to enjoy the water. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Property manager was very accessible for questions. Great communications. Highly recommend. We hope to be able to return soon!!!

Incredible location, beautiful house, perfection!

Pura Vida was the perfect choice for our multi-generation vacation. The house is spacious and beautiful, with plenty of spots for everyone to settle in and relax. The kitchen was well-appointed for a rental, and the dining table comfortably accommodated our party of 10. Be aware that other than salt and pepper, there are no spices/seasonings at the house. (This is not a complaint, just sharing as an FYI). The bedrooms were comfortable. It’s a lake house, so some bugs are to be expected, but there were a lot in the lower level master. The ping pong table and screened in porch got tons of use, and the kids loved the selection of books. The outdoor space was wonderful and had nearly everything we could have hoped for. The cove had plenty of wildlife - herons, geese, ducks, turtles, and great fishing. The water off the property is shallow enough for kids to play comfortably all day (my 5 and 7 year old could easily stand) The paddle board was a hit with everyone. We found that one of the kayaks had a tendency to take on some water, but not so much that it was unusable. The kids loved the paddle boat. The area was secluded and quiet, making for a very relaxing week. We had an amazing time at Pura Vida!

This was a great family vacation with our adult children and grandparents. The house was clean and there are lots of things to do at the house including fishing on the pier and ping pong. We also rented a boat and docked it at the house. Overall a great experience and we would definitely come again!

We had a great stay at the property. Unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor but luckily the open concept of this house provided a relaxed stay.

We had a great stay. House was well laid out, great use of space. Plenty of pots, bowls and plates and glassware.Check-in was easy. Would consider staying again.

This was a great COVID-friendly week away from the city. The house was clean - all bedding was fresh (including duvets that are all washed regularly) and the kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed all of the amenities in the house - the kids loved the ping pong table and the foosball. We also took advantage of the basketball hoop and putting green. It was too cold to go out on the water, but we will definitely consider coming back. The WiFi worked well with lots of devices connected (kids doing school and both parents working remotely).
