Duarte and his wife were awesome hosts. We arrived with our young baby and they provided a baby seat, play mat, baby bath, and toys for him (as well as the usual crib!). This made a huge difference for us compared to all our other rentals. The garden is lovely and it’s just a shame we couldn’t make the most of it with the rain. They have thought of everything and provide dark towels for the hot springs, and umbrellas for the rain. The kitchen is well equipped.

The road outside leads to a viewpoint so can be busy, and even with a small rental car we couldn’t park on the property but there was parking across the street.

A very nice , beautifull and authentic accomodation. Reality is better than the shown pictures. Very nice hosts with a pleasant welcome. Strongly recommend!!!

It’s a hidden jewel. A 5-star experience from the start until the end. The house and the garden are absolutely beautiful. Good location - walking distance. Terrific welcome basket with local foods prepared by our gracious hosts, extremely well equipped and good location. Daily fresh bread sold by van on the street!

We have stayed in all types of private accommodation over the years and this gorgeous Azorian house has to be the best. Duarte welcomed us and right from the beginning I fell in love with this place. It has absolutely everything. We loved the open fireplace the beautiful garden and the cosiness and quirkyness of the house. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in such wonderful accomodation.
