The view and the pool at the castle were very romantic, and the renovations made it incredibly beautiful. George, one of the employees working there, was helpful and friendly.

The welcome could have been better. After climbing to the hotel in the summertime, I would have expected a friendly greeting like 'Please have a seat and enjoy a cold welcome drink.' The breakfast room was very small, with only four tables, and our table for two was also too small. Our room was beautiful, but the fridge near the bed was noisy, and the room's proximity to the reception made it noisy from around 7 in the morning. Additionally, the toilet had no window to open. Despite the information on booking indicating no kids, there were families with small children (which was not a problem for us). When using Google Maps, it leads you to a closed door, so you have to use a different door a few minutes further on foot. Taxis cannot reach the hotel, so you have to walk uphill for a few minutes with your luggage.

Breakfast was the worst breakfast spread we have ever had in any hotel. They have laid out 2-3 veges, some jams and some cheese and break.Eggs on order. Cake as dessert. Tea/Coffee. That is all. For the price we pay, this is a ridiculously bad breakfast. We had much better breakfast spread in budget hotels than this.

The room was large and comfortable with beautifully chosen furniture. The pool setting with view over Tbilisi is magnificent! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. The location is fantastic. We loved our stay.

The location is absolutely stunning, the rooms inside the castle are incredible and I'd definitely recommend it even if it is just for the experience. Other than that breakfast was good and the view from the infinity pool over Tblisi is definitely worth it.

The price is a bit steep for the room but you are paying mostly for the experience which to me was worth it.

The room is absolutely gorgeous and enchanting! The staff were very friendly and helpful, they are there 24/7 if you need anything. Especially, George - he was extremely accommodating. View is also spectacular and location is in old town, restaurants and bars are at a walking distance.

The location of the property is fantastic, right in the middle of the centre of Tbilisi, 10mins walking to reach everywhere, freedom square, Europe square, right down at the bottom ofoth of Georgia. The hotel is literally converted from an old castle, well maintained and with lots of personal collection as well. Hotel staff, Tamar and Giogi is the receptionist who received me. They are very friendly and helpful. Tamar was extreme nice to my 4-year-old daughter, she also provided info and booked tour for us.

The only pity is that I booked bouble bed room (the smallest room in their selection), which is located on the ground floor, right in front of the hotel entrance. The room is dark, without any natural sunlight, and it is not sound proof so it is very noise if guests pass by, or talk. And the terrace is un-usable since there is no view, it is blocked by a semi-open wall.

We feel very privileged that we have been able to stay at the Castle. So much thought and work has gone into it's restoration. Each room has been beautifully set up with furnishings and antiques from different countries. The staff all go above and beyond to offer outstanding service - a special thanks to Tamari for showing us around the castle and grounds and explaining it's history, and for her dedication to making sure we always had everything we needed.

We cannot fault this beautiful place or the wonderful host.

Beautyful hotel. I like design, decorations, It’s unique castle style which ever met from another hotel. Hotel staffs very nice and helpful. We have to thank you ‘Giorgi’ a bell boy who help us to carry 7x heavy luggage’s up to the hotel and down to hotel when we check out as well as reception ‘Tamari’ and ‘Gorge’ who very nice with us. We can leave our luggage’s and be back for them later. Btw, we love breakfast also.

I don’t like the difficulty of entrance. it’s located in blind alley and have to climb up to many stairs to hotel. Din’t recommend for elderly people who have leg problems.

Amazing location; an old church in Old Town. Charming, large rooms and beautiful view from the castle. Very close to good, local restaurants and shops. Chef was unwell so breakfast wasn’t great but they fixed that with a free bottle of local wine.

It was really nice experience living in a real castle. In the room you can find everything you need. It was really warm inside because it has central heating. Clean and has new bathroom facilities. The best example how to make modern and comfortable room in old building and also leave its historical sharm. In the room you can see a piece of real castle floor (on the photo). Personal is really helpful and polite. The hotel itself is in a real castle and not directly accessible from the street. To access it, you have to take some stairs, because the castle is built on a rock formation (be aware if you have heavy suitcases). Thanks to the excellent quality of service provided by Tornike and Giorgi, who, by the way, completely took care of carrying the luggage from the street to the room and vice versa, we were able to enjoy our stay in this very beautiful place as much as possible. Definitely if we come again we'll stay there.

The room was spacious and very tasteful. The staff were very helpful especially both the Georgi. The location was fabulous & immaculate. The venue was a beautiful 10th Century castle.

Location not obvious for taxi drivers. Difficult to reach

The place is very accessible to the heart of the city. Had an amazing view and a very historical place to stay. The staff were very pleasant to talk to and had excellent english communication. They served a very delicious breakfast! Definitely highly recommended.

not for the weak, no easy way up requires you to go up a steep 4 flights of stairs and not soundproof at all cause the doors are not sound proof and the floors creak as expected because it’s an old establishment

a very nice and historical place to be in. very polite and helpful staff that even helped us in the middle of the night at 4am by bringing us some water.

I wish the breakfast was more Georgian and the pool was open in the winter.
