Breakfast was delightful, a good start to the day. Dinner was exceptional. The places to relax onboard were comfortable and easy. The pool is refreshing and fun. The evening lighting was magical with the vivid night sky. The area around to walk and bike was peaceful and lovely. The hosts had wonderful suggestions for day trips. The best part is the cat who makes you feel loved and protected (from dogs walking by). She reminds you to relax.

paper thin walls. woke up multiple times to neighbors fornicating. pictures also made it look like there was a hot tub which there was not.

Yann's delicious home cooked food, idyllic surroundings and just the right amount of attention made this a perfect stay.

Little Oasis with very kind and caring hosts. They made us feel very welcome and looked after. The breakfast was delicious and the whole scenery was breathtaking. Getting up in the morning and being served breakfast watching the flamingos was very very special. Having dinner and witnessing the sunset will be something we will remember for a very long time. Thank you for making our stay so special

The barge is in a lovely quiet location and the hosts were extremely welcoming. The meal offered on the first night was just delicious and made with local produce. Wine and beer were also available. Breakfast consisted of bread and croissants with local jams and preserves. Bicycles and kayaks were available for our use if we wished. We had a lovely peaceful stay there and would definitely stay there again.

You really need a car when staying on the barge. It's about 2.5 km to Villeneuve-lés-Maguelone, the nearest town, and there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.

So great. We were welcomed warmly and taken care of so beautifully. We highly recommend booking the Peniche Alphonsia Maria. Accommodations are spartan as you may expect on a boat but comfortable. Relaxing on deck was lovely. Our cabin was air conditioned, had a comfortable bed and the greatest shower in France! We booked the seafood platter (must be booked in advance) and enjoyed the onboard selection of local wines. Both were excellent. We hope to return someday!

The location was wonderful! You are completely surrounded by water…heaven. the walk to the beach was really pleasant in the afternoon sun. We enjoyed a chilly swim and sun baking before walking back via the vineyards and the Cathedral. There is a lovely restaurant/cafe to stop and enjoy a glass of wine. the stroll back down included white peacocks. In hindsight I wish I’d order the 3 course meal that was offered saving us driving the trip into the village. All in all a lovely stay hosted by great hosts. We will definitely come back.

The price was a little too high for what was provided. The room was very small (but that is what you expect from a boat).
