Fantastic value. More peaceful location than in the centre of town but still right across the road from the beach.

A great little quiet spot a stones throw from the beach. The sofa and bed were extremely comfy but the cabin itself was on the cold side. I was glad of the extra duvet supplied. I was in an end cabin which overlooked a field, which was a real bonus. Overall, a lovely stay.

Stones throw from the beach. Central to most things. Warm with a comfortable bed.

You did have to go out for food as no shops- however not an issue for us as we came with own supplies.

Everything! Cottage is spacious, couch and bed are really confortable ! There is everything for a cosy and relaxing stay (outside with seat, gas fireplace as heater, heater in the bathroom, bathrob, blanket, extra pillows). Owners are really friendly. Close enough to be in town by driving quickly and ocean is just at the end of the driveway ! We absolutely coming back for our next stay in Kaikoura.

GREAT LOCATION, VERY TIDY AND FRIENDLY STAFF

The bed was superbly comfortable

There was an overpowering smell of disinfectant, or something similar, in the room. If we hadn’t paid in advance, I would have gone elsewhere. The lady at reception was not welcoming, I had the impression that she would have preferred us not to be there. She related a few things which we shouldn’t do and looked exasperated when I asked her to repeat what she said a couple of times. She had a mask on, of course, which made it more difficult to understand her, but she was not pleased to be asked to repeat something so that I could understand her requirements.

The room was very large, with a small table & chairs for eating. The kitchenette area even had a washing machine. There was a small gas fireplace for if the evening was cold. The shower room was also very large. Parking was right beside the cottage.
