The old world charm of staying in a heritage property reminding one of Enid Blyton stories of our childhood. Rooms built out of wood and stones. The enthusiasm of the staff who are very friendly and helpful always. The excellent omelette prepared daily with requested variations.

There are no lifts and I had to carry my heavy suitcase all the way up to 2nd floor. Though this was announced and known in advance it was still a concern. There is no mirror in the room which the ladies find to be a drawback. AC was found wanting in performance.

The hotel itself is charming, with a perfect location in the middle of the city. It has a really lovely, romantic feeling to it, inside and outside. Parking is free with plenty of space around the hotel. We've both had breakfast and dinner in its restaurant and its clearly one of the best in the city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I'm sure we are going to recommend this place to our friends and family :)

Small village style boutique hotel with traditional cozy feeling. Great view on mountains and lake. Free parking. Rooms are unique and 'crafty' wooden style decorate

Staff were absolutely great from the start to the finish of our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. Old Bled House was a charming place to stay, our room was in the attic with wonderful views of the lake and castle.

It was an absolute wonder to stay at Old Bled House. The staff were so hospitable and made the house feel like a home. The restaurant was incredible, so good that we ate there on both evenings. The food was delicious, and the service was great and it was a wonderful evening. The location was brilliant short walking distance to everything. I would highly recommend Old Bled House.

Constant loss of electricity. Also, nothing to cover the windows if you don't want sun to wake you up early in the morning.

the alpine architecture was exquisite and completely in keeping with the gestalt of Bled. the attention to detail was exceptional and just steps to Lake Bled and the downtown.

It is difficult to find a negative about the Old Bled House. But I must suggest one minor area for improvement (truly minor) it would be to create a space for reading other than the BR. However, it should be noted that staff made us comfortable in the restaurant area for an early morning read before breakfast.
