We had a great experience spending Easter at this beautiful waterfront property. We enjoyed the deck and beach and the beautiful views that come with it.

What an amazing little find right on the water watching seals and birds, along with the passing ferry’s. The sunrises and sunsets from the amazing deck and through the full size windows couldn’t be viewed any better than on this property.

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at Bald Seagle! The views are unbelievable! We spotted several Bald Eagles, osprey, harbor seals and on the last day, WHALES!! So fun watching both the fast ferry and the the regular ferry cross between us and Bainsbridge Island! The only time we left the house was to run to Albertsons to pick up groceries. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and we grilled out fish we had picked up at Pikes Place Market. Every spice you would think of (except for garlic) was stocked in the cabinets, along with oils, syrup, sugar, vinegars, etc). We ate every meal out on the balcony! The living room and kitchen are spacious and the plate glass windows that overlook the Puget Sound are amazing! There is a huge utility room with washer, dryer and sink. The 2 bedrooms are cozy, each with a queen size bed, and fairly dark (no overhead lighting) - but made sleeping great! The bathroom is pretty dated but served it's purpose. Would highly recommend this vacation home if you are into sitting and watching wildlife!

Can’t beat the views at this place! Perfect to rest and unplug. We saw a family of otters swimming around. Took the ferry a couple times to Seattle. House has a great deck and had everything we needed, but it’s a bit dated.

Plenty of space to spread out but still felt intimate and cozy. The kitchen has absolutely anything you would need. We also lucked out and saw sea lions every morning swimming by which was a treat! The photos of the views don’t even do it justice-stunning!

What a wonderful house. They had all the kitchen tools we needed and nice touches throughout the house. Watching the ferries pass by was so calming. We stayed 3 nights and didn't leave the house once!

The location is serene and peaceful with stunning views. The house is impeccably appointed and comfortable. Wifi is super fast which made it the perfect spot for a working vacation.

We loved the property! That 1st view as you walk through the door is amazing as is the view from the back patio. I only wish we could have spent more time on the deck in the evenings to enjoy the sunshine, but had too many wedding activities to take full advantage of the deck. We did buy an ironing board and left it at the place for future guests. The deck made this place special.

Perfect place for combing the beach at low tide, watching the ferries go by, and slowing down.

My husband and I are newly weds and had decided to make a quick trip here to celebrate. It was exactly what we needed!

This home offered a perfect respite from the cramped hotels I typically stay at on work travel. The location is a quiet, secluded beachfront in the woods on the tip of the peninsula. We spotted some otters and bald eagles from the back porch, which offers an view of the Inlet between the peninsula and Bainbridge Island. The ferry traffic was nice to watch too. The house isn't too far from the nearby towns and restaurants, which had a quaint Main Street character. The kitchen was well-furnished. The rest of the house has a pretty cozy cabin appearance and the wood stove was a nice perk. It would helpful if some kindling was provided, though. I gave the cleanliness only 4 stars just because there were a bunch of those little ants around the bathroom sink; they didn't really bother us too much. I would have tried out the kayaks if I had time! I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Our stay in this waterfront home was absolutely everything as I expected plus more. The home was spotless, cozy and inviting. The views of the sound and watching the ferries sail by, watching the seal harbors swim and seeing a few bald eagles was highly enjoyable. It was great to sit out on the deck in a warm blanket and take it all in. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Will most definitely book this home again in the future.

Great view! Ferries pass by home. Great architecture. Heat did not work/turn on. Be advised no WiFi and reception limited at home and on way to property. Great place to disconnect. Did not like needing to use evolve for communication. Would have liked to use VRBO app.

The best VRBO I have stayed at! From the lovely drive to the home atmosphere/decor to the view I immediately thought, how can I buy this home☺️?! I saw seals and great blue herons and loved watching the sunset and boats go by on my comfy deck sofa. It was clean and was stocked with items (spices, oils and even butter!) for cooking (if needed). When I walked in and saw all of the extremely clean windows and view, I could not believe my luck! My one comment for an improvement would be instructions for the fire place. Thank you so much for renting out this perfect home!

The property is located in a wonderful spot that provides easy access to Seattle and the ability to explore the surrounding area. I love the deck most of all! It has amazing views. The reason for the 4 stars is no wifi and it was not mentioned in the listing. I should have checked but would have thought most places have it these days.

We had a wonderful 3 days on the water in Port Orchard. The house was a mid century marvel with a deck that was truly the center of activity during our time in the house. All things were on a sort of self discovery experience as there was no instructions for the TV , etc; and no note saying the dry was broken. As you can imagine planning for a washer full of wet clothes would have been preferred. Unable to contact property manager exacerbated the dilemma. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

We had a great stay at Bald Seagle. We saw and watched for eagles every day. The tide pooling in front of the house was great. It was a great location for day trips, Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, to Bremerton for the ferry to Seattle. The view every time you go to living room and out on the deck is just amazing! The house has everything you need. Perfect for a couple or family quiet get-away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to friends and family. We have one word that describes our stay here, and that is tranquility. The isolation, the view, the nature all combined makes an unforgettable and surreal experience. The kids enjoyed wandering the tide pools, going on the ferry, and all the sights of Seattle. Mom and dad enjoyed the nature such as the bald eagles flying overhead and all the local forest critters. All in all, a complete success, and the owners were quick to respond to any questions. Definitely want to come back!
