The place is amazing the pictures are amazing but when your there it's even better. Staff are so helpful and nice. Would highly recommend.

We liked everything. Claudine has thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It’s the most well equipped property we have stayed in. The view from the pool is gorgeous. We had breakfast at the property which was great value for money - fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, granola, warm bread, sweet treats, lovely coffee. The gardens surrounding the pool are beautiful. Easy to get Ubers to the surrounding areas. We can’t wait to come back 😊

Retiro da Janela is a very pretty property away from the tourist crowds but still in close proximity to many nice beaches and attractions. The rooms are cozy and clean, it has a beautifully decorated terrace, a great pool and cute garden. Don't miss out on the breakfast. It is super delicious, healthy and generous. Claudine is an exceptional host, who is well organised, responsive, helpful and cares dearly about her guests. I hope I can go back one day!

This was one of the most beautiful boutique properties we have stayed. It’s in a very quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas, but less than a 15 minute drive away from the sea, cafes and shops. Unless you are happy to pay for Uber, you will need a car while staying here, but these are relatively cheep in comparison to other European countries we’ve been to. The pool is beautiful, the grounds are clean and well kept. The accommodation itself is stunning, immaculate and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shower is powerful. The owner is very accommodating and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It felt very private and perfect for a relaxing break. So much lovelier than the photos. We loved it here and will definitely be back!

The location was great and the room is neat. If you are a person who like to socialize daily whilst staying this will be the place for you. If you like privacy, this is not the place for you.

Although I used the filter for chosing a place with a kitchenette, sadly on arrival I realised there was just a kettle on top of a small fridge. The open area had a two plate but no pots or pans to boil, fry or cook. No microwave either. There are plenty of cutlery in the room. Still unclear why as there is nothing or any space to prepare any food. Photos on Booking.com is deceiving, not all rooms have a standard kitchenette.
