The staff and the nice breakfasts on the terrace. Central location in the old town.

The rooms are not well sound-proofed and some of the air conditioners are too loud. Pillows are uncomfortable. The B&B uses a photo of the church tower which is a bit misleading as the actual property is down the road. And the name would indicate it is a lighthouse, but it is not.

Lovely hosts, individualized breakfast, spacious rooms, excellent location, and clean.

Water pressure is low, there’s a lot of church bells going off all the time and the birds are loud but that’s expected by the sea. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

There is nothing that impressed us about this property. Poor communications, excuses as to why the host was late to meet us at the property, sparsely furnished and dated. Dark bathroom with smelly old plastic shower curtain, low hot water pressure, and thin old greyed towels. Uncomfortable squeaky bed. No Wifi signal in the room….only when you went into the hall. In all honesty the property felt like a boarding house.

Most things need significant attention to bring this property up to an acceptable standard (based on our personal experience as Genius Level lll bookers)

You stay on the hill in the old part with sea view, just like living 100 hundred years ago :). Parking is close by and just have to climb up a bit. Location is really awesome.

Loved it - perfect location in the old town. Cool house with roof terrace overlooking sea for nice breakfast. Comfortable room with cotton sheets and nice external bathroom. Sorry we could only stay one night. Hosts were lovely. Safe bicycle storage.

Perfect location at the historic center of Castelsardo. Stunning views from the terrace, where a nice breakfast is served every morning. Room was spacious and equipped with air conditioning.

L'Antico Faro is a little gem. It is situated down a cool, narrow street in the old historical centre of the town. Our host came to meet us at the door and showed us around, providing lots of useful information. He is a kind, courteous and enthusiastic host. Our rooms were lovely: spotlessly clean, comfortable, cool and with effective air-conditioning. Plenty of hot water in the shower, and all we needed was provided. The balcony had a little washing line which proved very useful for drying swimwear. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with lots of choices and more than we could eat. We also sat up there with a glass of wine in the evenings and enjoyed the breeze and great views. We would highly recommend this lovely little family hotel.

I would totally recommend this accomodation to everyone. Not only the owners were super nice (even though I am a begginer in Italian, I would talk with the owners in it and it just lifted my italian experience so much, because the were really lovely and spoke to me slowly so I could understand), the terrase for the breakfast has the most amazing view on the Corsica island. The room was comfortable and big enough, it is a great place to stay when in Castelsardo!

We had a room with views over the rooftops to the sea. The roof top terrace for breakfast was great. Host was very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location in the north side of the old city centre. Quiet location and great view on the sea from the terrace on the top floor. All interesting things in walking distance.

Location is not accessible with the car, it would be nice to have an instructions how to find it. Google's lost too. Window is really small, also the room. Very basic, just for spending the night.

The hosts are great. Breakfast was very good on the roof top. It is in the old city center.

One cannot enter the car to the old center, so you have to park outside. Reaching the guest house demand climbing up and down many stairs which can be somewhat difficult.

° the room was huge - but the shower was very very small - could not move with our arms ° the "terrace" offered on our description was also the terrace where the breakfast took place- so not really private ° parking spot was indicated by owner, but we had difficulties to find it - even with GPS ° make ONE suitcase to carry up the mountain (what we did) there are many stairs to walk up
