The rooms were spotless and all “provisions” that were promised were there. The loft area is absolutely perfect for teenagers who like to sleep late and enjoy their privacy. My grandkids were very happy and I only ventured up the morning we left to make sure they had taken care of the space. Beach is not crowded and an easy walk. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. I often spent mornings with coffee and my book of the day. We will be back again next year.

Our family had a great stay at White Sands! The house was beautiful. The only drawback for us was the location of the Lake. It's quite the walk for elderly people, so we drove to the lake and the younger ones walked. We also had one bath towel each, so we laundered frequently, but overall, would definitely recommend!!! Never used the back yard, but enjoyed sitting on the front porch each evening! Very peaceful!

There was plenty of room for seven teenagers and three adults. The pictures don't do it any justice... just a beautiful clean home. Close to beaches and breweries and tons of places to eat! This will be our annual trip each year... White Sands is our new Pure Michigan Vacation Home :)

Overall enjoyed our stay. Pros: house was clean and comfortable. Near restaurants, close to the beach. There is a fire pit to enjoy s’mores. Also quick communication from owners. Cons: The check in process was frustrating. I did not like having to message my group asking what time everyone was going to arrive and then having to email owners so they can put a key inside the house and then to message them letting them know when we arrived. When traveling with 5 kids under 6 that’s the last thing u should need to worry about. Get a lock box or a key pad. It should not be that complicated. The small back deck needs rails, one of the kids fell off the side of it and got hurt. There is no fire wood ready to use for the fire pit. We had to go purchase some. The grass was also very long around the house and needed to be cut. I couldn’t let my baby crawl around outside at all. They also had a dozen ant hills all around the yard. The warning notes around the house of what you can’t do or they will charge you don’t exactly give you warm and cozy vibes. The long check out list that needed to be done exactly a certain way or you’ll get charged made our last nite stressful trying to pack and get everything done exactly the way they want. They provided the bare minimum for the rental. Again, overall we had a good time but I don’t think the cost matches the value.

Plenty of room for a family celebration consisting of 3 couples and 4 children under the age of 10. Very clean and easy walk to Lake Michigan beach.

We loved our stay! The house was exactly as described and the pictures were spot on. We had plenty of space for a group of 5 friends. Loved that the house was straight down the street from a fun bar for Friday night and we all enjoyed a lovely walk to the beach the next morning. The fire pit was all stocked with wood for us and it truly was so turnkey, we loved it and would absolutely stay again.

There was plenty of room both inside and outside for the kids to play. Everything in the home including kitchen appliances and utensils were new so we had everything we needed to cook various meals during our stay. The newer Weber grill was nice to have as well as we did grill out a few times for dinner. The home is a short walk to both the beach and downtown Union Pier if you something from the market. It is also a short walk up to the Whistle Stop if you need a coffee in the morning. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Overall, our experience at this rental was great. It accommodated 10 of us and gave us plenty of space. Our favorite part of the property was the location distance from the beach. It was a little under 10 minutes to walk there and the beach was just beautiful. The only suggestion would be to bring extra toliet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for they only provide a bear minimum. Since we had 10 of us staying in the home it was easy to use more than what was provided. They do provide some beach towels which was a nice touch. Overall, our stay was great and we would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a nice getaway.

Stayed here for a girls weekend with 9 friends. House had everything we needed and more. Everyone said the beds were comfy. Short walk to beach was easy. The wagon they had there helped with all of our things. Short drive to wineries and downtown New Buffalo. Would definitely recommend!

The property was extremely clean and perfect for our family getaway. We grilled & had a bonfire the first night, made a great breakfast the next morning and off to the beach which was a 5 minute walk. Walked to to Union Pier Social (5 min walk) for a delicious dinner, just enjoyed going back to the property and relaxing.

We absolutely loved our stay at White Sands. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable for the 11 of us (8 adults, 3 kids). This home was stocked up on literally everything- spices, cleaning supplies (trash bags, laundry detergent, etc), towels and beach towels, tons of beach toys and supplies, movies, and a bunch of fun games! I have never seen anything like it and was so impressed. The short walk to a nearby beach was through a beautiful neighborhood and quick, even with little kids. The 5 minute drive into New Buffalo wasn't bad at all either! We could not have been happier with our stay at White Sands! We would definitely stay again!

We rented this for our girls weekend and it did not disappoint! Great central area that everyone could hang out in and large backyard. Plenty of room for sleeping. We very much enjoyed it and would recommend!

Perfect place for a girls trip! Location close to wineries and breweries and walked to dinner and delicious gelato. We had a beach day and the rentals wagon and beach chairs were perfect additions. Home is very cozy and welcoming. Would consider renting again since we did not get to do all we had wanted.

Location of the home was great. Just max a 10min walk to the beach! The home was super clean and open. Add a total of 9 people in the house and we had so much space, did not feel we were on top of each other. The bed were all comfy. And the upstairs bedroom with 3 twin beds was perfect for our children. It's close to wineries and breweries, there also was a cute little Cafe a short walk from the house that had sandwiches, ice cream, and especially coffee. I definitely recommend this home. Can not wait to go back and enjoy Lake Michigan some more. It was Fantastic!!!!

Our decision to stay at the White Sands property was a great one. The home was beautiful and spacious , its location was easy to get to and the interaction with the owners was great. I will definitely book with them again!

We had an excellent long weekend with friends at this beautiful home. The house seems brand new, and is very clean, comfortable and nicely laid out with all of the amenities we could have wanted. We particularly appreciated the modern kitchen and fire pit, where we spent some enjoyable evenings making s'mores! It should be noted that the property is adjacent to the Red Arrow Highway, and we could sometimes hear noise from the road. Thanks for a helping us create a special weekend away with friends!
