This property was really centrally located, not that far from the train station and close to the centre. I was told, that the property was the old French embassy, which was rather quirky. named after the poet from Grenoble, Stendhal. room was tidy, breakfast basic, but that’s not a big deal for me. and in all, a good experience.

Everything. It is clean, super comfortable, modern furnishings, ideal central location and a fantastic host in Simone who is so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The only drawback is that there is no lift for luggage up to the first level, but this is not the fault of the accommodation as there was no lift installed when the building was built.

Simon is a very helpful man . he helped us a lot with recommendations also he was too flexible and friendly

The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast ok, The gentleman Simon at the front desk helped me carry my luggage up and down the steps which was great. The other problem was that the front desk did not always have anyone there. You were given a phone number. I did not have a cell phone so if I needed help that would have been useless. Very close to the cruise entry. That was Great and easy to walk to.

The 1/2 the shutter on my window did not close. So at night I kep my lights out so no one could see in. Not great but livable for one night.

perfect central location. great recommendation from the host Simone for dinner which was a stroll away to pizzeria del ghetto. Simone was so helpful and we would 100% stay again. the room was very large and the pictures don't do it justice. also very clean and the breakfast was self serve.

I do prefer a coffee prepared by the host but that is minor

The staff is very helpful. After I checked out and left the hotel, I have realize that i cannot come to the cruise port without a taxi. Then I want back to the hotel, there was only a cleaning lady because it was Sunday. So, the cleaning lady called Simone and he arranged a taxi for me that I could go to the cruise terminal.

Simón was wonderful, helpful and kind! The hotel is small, nothing fancy but so clean, pretty, and comfortable. Perfect for a short period of time to visit Civitavecchia and get into the port if you going to a cruise.

It is not about the hotel it is about hotels in Italy. Be aware, the check out is at 10 am
