Los responsables del hotel eran muy buena gente y súper amables. Nos hicieron un tour por allí y nos acompañaron a las excursiones, nunca vi gente tan amable. Las instalaciones estaban perfectas y la comida estaba muy buena.

Excellent location off the main road, you may see the Lion Rock from the very relaxing roof bar. Don't miss their mango juice!
Breakfast has been amazing and the staff are very helpful. Room is large with balcony which is super clean and tidy, you will also find a few manga books in the drawer. Kettle included for tea / coffee lovers.
Around 8 minutes of 400-600r TukTuk ride will get you to the Lion Rock, best time to depart is around 5am, the host will arrange for you.
We took a 3pm train from Colombo to Habarana Railway Station and took a 2500r TukTuk ride to this guesthouse hotel.
From my understanding: "Iwa" = Rock, "mi" = seeing, "sou" = guesthouse. Thanks for your host!

朝食、夕食ともに美味しく、眺めが最高のレストランで食事が取れたこと。
小さなバスタブがあり、湯につかれたこと。
電気ポット、強力なエアコン、ウオシュレットなど、欲しいファシリティーが全て揃っていたこと。
また、オーナーはとてもいろいろと気を使ってくださいました。
夕食後に蛍を見せてくれたり、また様々な交通手段の手配をしてくれてスムーズに旅行ができました。
勧められた宿の近所のアーユルヴェーダは他の地域で受けた施術にくらべて２倍ほど高かったが、オイルと施術がそれに見合うかというと微妙だったのでおすすめしません

It's a beautiful place with big garden (with monkeys) and an amazing rooftoop with nice views on the Lions Rock. Also the owners can cook AMAZING curry and are really kind.
As a solo traveller I didn't meet a lot of people here. There were mainly couples :-)

La vue sur le rocher depuis le roof top.
Le prix très élevé des repas proposés en dollar pour des plats très classiques.
Le prix du taxi aussi très élevé pour se rendre à Kandy : petit véhicule basique, pas confortable du tout et sans air conditionné . Déception de dernière minute donc difficile d’annuler notre réservation.

部屋もベッドもとても広く、日本人が共同オーナーだけあって、かゆいところに手が届く設備。この値段で泊まれるなんて素晴らしいです。

The view from the reception is very nice and it is recommended to watch the sunset there looking over the Siguriya rock with a cup of tea. If you need anything, the guy that is over there can help you with organizing everything you want.
There was some strange smell in the room.
We would not say the room was particularly clean.
When we paid the lady at the reception tried to put a massive FX charge (when I raised the point she said it was a mistake and asked how much money I want back…

Iwamisou is een verborgen schat in Sigiriya. Het heeft een om prachtig hoog te terras waar alle gasten komen ontbijten, relaxen en genieten van het uitzicht op Lion Rock, precies zoals op de foto’s. De eigenaar Nissanka doet er alles aan om jou de perfecte vakantie te beleven. Hij regelt een tuktuk, een taxi chauffeur en denkt mee met je planning, boekt leuke tours en stops zelfs met korting. Bijvoorbeeld de mooie olifanten safari van Rowan, aanrader! Al het personeel is super vriendelijk en komen je gedag zeggen. Ontbijt en avondeten is mega lekker! De kamers zijn ook enorm ruim met veel meubels en goede airco.

The hotel lived up to its reputation, and the location, room facilities, food, staff, and service were perfect. My favorite memory was watching the sunset from the rooftop, which is still etched in my mind, along with the scenery of the lakeshore and the birds. It was a good stay.

Está en medio de la selva literalmente, ves con demasiada claridad las estrellas, l comida está rica , me prepararon un plato a parte de lo que tenían en la carta y me pareció un detalle, mejor comer en el hotel ya que en el centro es un desastre, caros y malos.
El hombre que gestiona el hotel es muy amable y tiene una gran sonrisa, su hija también.
La habitación estaba muy muy bien, aunque entran toda clase de bichos, qué quieres ? Estás en plena selva! Fue divertido
El desayuno increíble! El jugo de bienvenida también ! Las vistas a las montañas.. increíble
Quizá un poco retirado del centro, son 30 min literal caminando y en la noche da respeto a no saber si te sale un elefante deambulando, hay oscuridad absoluta, recordar cargar el frontal.
Nos contrataron tuktuk para hacer la roca opuesta al lion rock, nos recogieron muy justos de tiempo, si tienes estado físico te da tiempo, aunque otro inconveniente es tener delante una grupo de turistas que van a pasos lentos y no dejan pasar, por lo que sugiero al hotel que la recogida sea más pronto 0445.

Las vistas desde la habitación, las instalaciones en especial la terraza tan espectacular que tienen con vistas a Lions Rock y ofrecen varias actividades de juegos. Pero sobretodo la comida y el trato con el personal fue inmejorable. Los desayunos estaban incluidos en el precio de la reserva, fueron muy abundantes y variados. Una noche cenamos en el restaurante del alojamiento y fue delicioso. El personal en todo momento se mostró cercano con nosotras y se ofrecieron ayudarnos y aconsejarnos durante toda la estancia.

The owner has put efforts to keep the fees affordable especially there is a restaurant to serve dinner to the guests since it is in a distance from the main road.
The coffee served is exceptionally good. Even better than some 5 stars.

Not really dislike but just recommendations
Better to send to guests about the transportation options in advance so that guests would decide whether to use it from the hotel according to their needs.
Better to have a quick room made up to refill the toiletries and have the floor cleaned as there are for sure insect bodies on it which is natural in a forest.

The property location is very good. Very close to both rocks, willage life tour, safaris... The rooms are unbelievable beautiful. All possible comfort. The food in the hotel is very good. But the best of all is the owner and the staff. Very very nice to their guests. When in Sigiryia do stay in this hotel. You won’t regret it (the view on the rooftop restaurant directly on Lions Rock).

Great area to be in, literally surrounded by nature and at the foot of the best places in the village. They provide a good breakfast, free use of bicycles and a great open rooftop to relax after a day of activities. Very spacious and clean rooms.

Great views. Ideal for families and couples, maybe not the same for solo/ independent travelers. Staff friendly when you book activities with them -they will ask for your travel plans and push to arrange them for you
A bit isolated - you do need a tuk tuk to move around and go to a restaurant or minimark to buy water/food (Beware of wild Elephants at dusk, so no risk to walk there). The room is clean but with many creepers at night (I found mosquitoes, flies, frogs, big spiders...) and no mosquito net! So despite of being in a calm area is difficult to relax and sleep in peace because of insects. The japanese toilet is super random but doesnt work

The rooms are big and clean, the king-size bed was very comfy and we really loved to have a small private balcony. The bathroom was great. We loved the terrace of the hotel, it was an amazing place to rest while enjoying Sigiriya views. The staff was super kind and helpful. Without any doubt, we will 100% recommend this hotel!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The views were stunning. We loved the rooftop sitting in the beanbags. We can chill by looking at the view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala. The environment was quiet. The staff was friendly and treated us good. The breakfast was really good. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended for tourists.
We booked two Queen rooms with a balcony but we got only one with a balcony, the other was in the ground level. It's okay the rooms were good.

VISITORS BE AWARE! I saw a frog in my bathroom. I was so shocked. That’s okay, we’re literally in the middle of the forest but still this is not that I can stand it. One of their worker came to my room and took this frog after 10 minutes I texted them. But I still just wanted to run away from there. It is not nice story but I had to mention that.
