Great location in town

Best place to stay if visiting Capital Reef or passing through. Good rooms, pool, store, restaurant, etc. Rooms look recently refurbished.

The little cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The guy at the front desk was super helpful recommending some great restaurants.
The interior was a bit dated, but clean. The wifi signal in the cabin was weak.

The family suite was a great accommodation for our family. The staff was wonderful. The night we checked in we were shown where to go, all around the property, restaurant locations, etc. It was our first time to Austin’s Chuckwagon Motel. I’m sure we will stay here again in the future.

the clerk is very kind。We climbed back from the mountain, covered with yellow sand, the staff was very enthusiastic to give me enough bath towels, let me take a comfortable hot bath。

Great location for anyone traveling to Capitol Reef. Rooms are clean and the showers have good water pressure and hot water. The boxed lunches you can purchase to take on your hikes are delicious!

no complaints about the property. we came after the main tourist season ended so dining selection in town is limited. just plan ahead and enjoy.

Other reviewers gave this property an "Awesome" Rating of 9 and we agree. Good beds, clean, micro and frig, and an excellent general store right on the property. All good. Book this property and note, it is NOT a motel, it is now called the Austin's Chuckwagon Lodge which better describes it. It is NOT an old musty motel so good they changed the name which is more appropriate. Top class property.

It's a full service facility. Hotel, store, laundry, deli.
We booked a "pet friendly" hotel. They never asked if we had a pet even though our dog was present at check-in And 2 days later charged us a $50 "penalty" without our consent.
Expensive store, underwhelming food, they cater to tourists passing through vs guests staying and paying.

After driving 16 hours, their office was closed. They tried calling me while I was driving bu didn't leave v.m. I mistakenly thought office was open 24 hours. After several attempts to call them, haven't called me back. Now I 'm sure my money is lost.

Clean facility, friendly staff and offered rags if we wanted to wipe motorcycles down!
The burger truck on the parking lot at dinner time is excellent & a very reasonable price!
