The view of Lake Michigan is stunning! Wonderful sand beach and very neat, clean property. Missed that no kitchen items other than dishes were included, so we needed to run to the little market for K-cups. Island Fever was a great option for dinner the first night. We had a great time exploring Door County over the weekend. THANK YOU for making our accommodations so inviting!

My friend and I were looking to have a quiet weekend getaway and wanted to be able to do some sighseeing but more than anything we wanted to relax. This was perfectly located to be central to a lot of lighthouses and also easy drives to the wineries and more busy towns. The condo is well maintained and kitchen has everything needed to cook meals and stay in. We loved turning on the fireplace and looking out to the water. The beach is beautiful and we loved going on walks along the water. We absolutely loved our stay!!

Beautiful location on the lake! Beach was clean and easy short distance access. The balcony made it easy to enjoy the sunrise and the moonrise as well as the sound of waves coming up on the beach. We enjoyed the jetted tub (a couple of the jets aren't working). This felt great on an injured knee (prior injury/ACL tear). We will look forward to another relaxing and entertaining vacation at your accommodations. We have also passed information on to family members.

The stay was good.It was clean inside with all the appliances in working order.

We came to Door County for a relaxing getaway with my parents and this was the perfect place for the four of us. On the quiet side of the peninsula, we loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning and breakfast in the dining area while listening to the waves. We enjoyed coming back to the condo after sightseeing to relax in the evenings. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Mark was wonderful to work with. We would definitely look to stay here again when we return!

This property was amazing! 3 nights were not enough. We went sight seeing and loved coming back to the condo to relax and sit on the beach.

We loved this property! The location is perfect if you are looking for a quieter, less populated community with beautiful sandy beaches. Pros - Property was very clean and inviting. I brought extra items, but to my surprise, it was very well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. They also had plenty of hangers in the closets and clothes hampers too! - Beautiful views of the beach! No matter what time of day or what the weather was like, the views were stunning. - Beach was phenomenal - we have a 7 and 8 year old and they could have spent our entire vacation playing on the beach. - We took long walks almost every evening along the shoreline and soaked in the beautiful skyline and crashing waves. - Great communication and clear expectations from the owners. - Lots of extra storage in the en suite bathroom! Cons - This was the only reason I gave four stars instead of five stars - some of the windows were broken and didn't open or wouldn't shut. Most of the windows only opened a few inches. The biggest let down was that there was no screen door to the deck. This place would have been perfect if we could have had a screen and let the breeze blow through the condo and listen to the sounds of the lake. I hope the owners will consider adding one - it would really elevate the experience. Overall - fantastic property and experience. I highly recommend!

This is our second stay here, and we had a wonderful time. The property is really clean and being right on the sandy shallow beach cannot be beat. We look forward to coming back next summer!

I can’t say enough about this property. From the location…. Ot was 25 -30 minutes from anything we wanted to do. To the details the owner put into the property for the guests. We absolutely loved this stay. And we hope to make this place a family tradition.

This is our second time staying at this property and it was just as wonderful as it was 7 years ago. Everything you could possibly need is there and the condo is so clean! Had a bit of a time with the TV but my husband and I aren’t exactly “techy” :) The lake flies were bad in the evening so we didn’t use the deck much at night, but that’s not a negative to the condo. Still an amazing place and we will be back again! Mark is a wonderful host and very responsive.

This is our third time renting this condo from Mark since 2019. We prefer to stay on the "quiet side" of the peninsula and have sufficiently enjoyed staying here that it has become our go-to Door County rental condo. Mark is exceptionally easy to work with, as he responds quickly to any questions or concerns and maintains high property standards, including cleanliness and various updates around the condo. Of course, the beautiful lakefront location of the condo adds to the experience. While some VRBO reviewers seem to give five-star reviews as a matter of course, this property and owner legitimately deserve a five-star rating.

A very nice place, the Jacuzzi after a January hike was most welcome. Nice views of Lake Michigan from both rooms. Plenty of beach to walk. January temperatures and 30mph winds off the lake limited our porch time but we still had two fine sunrises and a starry night sky to watch.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s right on the water with a beautiful beach with beautiful views. Owners are very friendly and helpful and the place is very clean. Can’t wait to go back.

First, I want to point out something that isn't apparent in the property description: This is a second floor unit, so guests have to be able to go up a flight of stairs to access it, and the sliding door to the beach in the picture is only for the first floor unit. Aside from that, the condo is as pictured/described. Jacksonport has a wonderful beach shoreline, so we enjoyed morning walks along the lake when it wasn't raining. We chose the location so we could easily get to Sturgeon Bay and Fish Creek during our stay, and the price was less than staying in Egg Harbor, so we were pleased with our choice. The unit is clean and fairly spacious with plenty of dishes/glasses. We didn't cook, but we snacked and had what we needed. I found the bedding and towels to be the bare minimum: the towels were thinner than any towel I have ever encountered before, and there were only two (very firm) pillows per bed. Luckily, I brought my own pillow, so I was the only one in our party who was comfortable at night. The owner has notes and signs all over with instructions and rules, which was a little off-putting, as was the fact that we had to strip the beds, gather all the towels, start the laundry, do the dishes, and take out the trash before we left.

I was getting away but myself and this was perfect--lovely, comfortable place with a good size table for scrapbooking; beautiful sunrises; restful walks on the beach. Also loved going to Hands On Art. Would definitely come back-on my own or with friends.

This is no more than a hundred yards to the beach, with a wonderful view from the condo. Also, it is a quiet location, albeit we went in early October, but if you don't want to be dealing with lots of other people, definitely a place to consider. My only complaint was the master queen bed was too soft. Had to sleep in guest bed. Would recommend master bed mattress be replaced.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we really look forward to it. The location is amazing--love being able to come back after a day out and doing beach walks, sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. After our first stay we now plan on bringing all extra paper goods we'll need and that's not a big deal. Plus we grab a big jug of drinking water for the fridge. A couple suggestions I'd make are a few more cooking utensils and some luggage racks for the bedroom would be great. Communicating with Mark is always easy and he's really responsive. We love the location and the sounds of the water. It is far from the tourist side of the peninsula, but close enough you can get there when you want that sort of activity. Great host and the space is really nice. This is our 4th time using this space (or the one next to it). Great space!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is right on Lake Michigan and in a good location on the peninsula. The condo is very up to date and clean. And pictures and description are very accurate. We would definitely stay here again especially in the warmer months so we can take advantage of the lake. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at this property. It was immaculately clean, and the lake views out the front widow were beautiful! The location is centrally located and easy to get anywhere in the county.

This place was really great - it's super clean, everything is in good condition plus it's right on the beach with an amazing view. My husband, toddler and I stayed for 4 nights but I do think this place could easily fit 6 people as it is listed for. My son also loved the fact that they have beach toys available - nice addition! A few opportunities: It would be really helpful if they had shampoo and soap available for showers since there aren't many stores nearby; and the check-out process is a little labor-intensive (loading and starting the dishwasher, getting a load of towels & sheets started in the wash machine, and taking out all the garbages) - not the end of the world but with an early checkout (10am) and a late check-in (4pm) you'd think these things could be completed as part of the cleaning fee. Great, great place! You won't regret staying here.

We had a wonderful vacation in Door County and absolutely loved the location of this property. Being right on the water was incredible. The condo was clean and just as described. Mark was a very responsive host. I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Location was central to all of Door County. Quiet, flat, and sandy beach right outside door. Condo is clean, check in a breeze. Whole family enjoyed, including 10 and 12 year old Boys, not a small feat.
